  • BP’s gift to America just keeps on giving.
  • The PA senate primary, in a dead heat.
  • They’re all extremists now.
  • Ya know — the “job” that W., H.W., and Reagan all failed to do.
  • Where is this “ideologically pure” Democratic Party?
  • The worst commencement address in history.

Ya know — hockey mom didn’t do such a great job securing the Alaskan border, what with Putin rearing his head into the airspace of the United States and all.

Welcome back BT.
Granted this is a different time and the media is very different from what it was during the Exxon Valdez spill into Prince William Sound But I was in the Navy in 1989 and I didn’t even own a television, yet coverage was ubiquitous and inescapable. The current disaster is orders of magnitude larger and worse than what happened in remote Alaska and I’m mostly hearing crickets from the traditional media here. I would say massive FAIL but they are doing their jobs as re-defined as the official shills of other large corporations.

Oh, and the Ds ARE ideologically pure: corporatists to the core of their mean little hearts, and belligerent about it. Here’s a link to my comments about reaming out Hinchey on Saturday. Further comments follow the one I linked to.

Good morning eCHAN. Sorry for not replying to your bee info yesterday but it was all your fault! I went out to view the returning bees as you suggested and ended up staying in the garden all day (well until cocktail time anyway). I did not see the bees returning with their treasure but will try again today. My wife thought I was bloody nuts standing in the flight path but I assured her that I was only honey hunting…..

Glad to take the ‘blame’ for how you had to spend your entire day until the cocktail hour. Sounds like you had terrible one. *g*

I’m surprised you didn’t see the pollen carriers. It seems quite obvious to me. The difference might be that my beekeeper was the one who originally pointed it out to me, so perhaps if I had to pick them out without someone showing me first, it wouldn’t bee so obvious.

After my one comment on Caturday, I laid down on the couch, turned on the TV & promptly fell asleep. Dragged myself out of bed at 7a this morning. Not sure I can get by on a mere 10 hours sleep. *g*

Finally got a chance to spend some time with my friend the off-shore rig boss this week end. To make a long and incredibly technical story short, BP, Transocean and Haliburton are all lying. Rig boss says they test Blow Out Preventers every 14 days. With out fail. Anyway, my friend says “fuckers all”.

Ahhh, Good Morning….Tell us what you really think ;)

Dramatic study about huge income gap between whites and Blacks….has gotten much worse since the ’80s….attributed to favorable tax breaks for
higher income,,,,all per NPR. What will our Congress do?

The second question is the one most important to me. Like Joe the (not) Plumber. WTF is the media doing following these irrelevant losers around and hanging on every non sequitor, factually inaccurate, ridiculously unfounded thing that they say? Can’t we have one Sarah free day?

Angela is great. I think her new diet agrees with her more. We have become the odd couple; she follows me almost everywhere. Hysterical. Thanks for checking. I do keep up with Cat….I loved the pic yesterday.

John Mayer sums it up so nice in Waiting for the World to Change

what you get is what you got

cause when they own the information

They can bend it all they want”

Why doesn’t Obama just order BP to give us all the numbers or send them to jail. After all they are just a person, so send that person and all of it’s body parts to prison, for fucking ever.
