His name was mcVeigh

hey spocko — i saw it on our local news coverage a few ago but had the sound turned down. holy moly
how ya doing tonight?
I hate to joke even around the edges of the possibility of a President-gun deal…
But it looks like Congressman Patrick McHenry has been doing some time traveling from his teen years.

He (at least in part) lives his constituency.
Know your district, you have half the thing in the bag.
five to one
Good evening, Ms. Suzanne, darling of late night. Diving season approaches?
Love that Five to One, Nene.
hey bg — i did a few test dives earlier this spring and the water was still frosty. how ya doing tonight?
One Nation…Under a Groove
I’m in the middle of my allergy season, otherwise pretty good. I just got caught up with Caturday, been busy all day.
groove me
It’s a strange district. Someone did an interesting analysis for the last election… I’ll try to locate it.
I don’t understand what that means — snow down to pass levels.
But I sure understand no housework…. yipeee!
sorry — i want to go up to timberline lodge up on mt hood but the snow level is predicted to fall low enough that chains will probably be required on the road up there.
hahahaha
Suz and Margot are all free-form tonight. My favorite.
Seems quiet here, I guess it’s almost Monday. Alla days pretty much the same for me.
Mama? MAMA!
gotcha! Sorry..
i’m a free bird
Hey bg. I worry I’m being a pain here. Please jump in!
not a pain — pain killer
i’m fading….
g’nite all and thank you for letting me spend part of your sunday evening with ya.
see ya tuesday for late late night
Is it a mix?
I would ignorantly presume bible-thumping, Teh Gay-hating, NRA-supporting, NASCAR-worshiping fly-over.
Plus, the whole ignoring what is right in front of their noses thing about their critter…
Hey sorry about that, ipod died!
One of the things I’ve been pondering is just how dangerous the open carry gun movement. Stuff like this happens and they will say that he has the right to carry his gun. That WE are the ones who are over reacting.
Have a great vacation!
That’s truly bizarre.. *g*
And yet somehow inevitable.
heya Suze & Pups!
Vacation? Sounds like a good idea, Suzanne. Have a great time!
Nite Suz, you are always the greatest hostess of the dark hours. Are you doing lln from vacation? Or is your vaca just til Tuesday? Whatev, have fun.
Margot, I really am a dolt at the music. That’s why I like freeform, I get a bit of everything and don’t have to pick the tunes.
Hi ndfg, what sort of weather do you have in your area?
It is, isn’t it? :-)
I’m glad, then. It’s pretty random. Sometimes I just type a letter into the YouTube search bar and see what songs/groups it comes up with, and go from there.
we’ve had an early spring here in Minneapolis. It’s been a bit on the dry side so the showers we had all weekend were welcome. Peas & lettuce up outside. Howsabout your area?
Margot, I have been singing “My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard,” do you know that one? I’m thinking of putting up a sign at my alley that says, “My milkshake brings all the cats to the yard.” We have a cat park.
And a bumper crop of peaches this year. Also.
I’m eating lettuce from my winter crop, which is very cool. I need to move my winter lettuce location next year, this was my first try, it needs more sun than it got in the winter where I had it.
As I mentioned, my peaches are totally awesome this year, big crop brewing, if the hail or some other weather wack does not get them. Of course, my small crop of last year was stolen, not cool. Second time that happened.
I have my tomatoes in and some basil, a little catnip is there, and I have a bunch of tomatoes sprouting. I also found a broccoli in the compost that sprouted, so I stuck it in the ground. And an ear of corn had some sprouts, so I picked those off and put them into a little starter bin to see what happens. I am kind of a happenstance gardener, though I would like to get better at it.
You’re fundamentally correct, but there are some oddities about this guy… and his district. I’ll get back to you.
Thanks, Sunny.
Outa here. nite you guys.
peaches! I am so envious. They’re not hardy in our area. But total bummer about the stolen peaches. Maybe a chainlink fence around the tree with a German Shepherd inside?
Yes, I have done some fencing in the past after the first peaches were stolen. Now I have a big black cat who I think may be able to defend the peaches for me. We’ll see.
I gotta get out of here, nite, owls.
Hasta la manana.
