Hi ES, love redbuds. Lavender-pink flowers and very dark bark, just beautiful.

My class is held in a 200-seat recital hall, so they’d be on a stage that is already set up for recording – both audio and video. My TA works in the hall’s control room, so if they think it’s OK, we’ll record the set.

Evening Margot… speaking of lavender, I just purchased a bunch of lavender seeds.

And the lilac and wisteria are still ahead… can’t have enough shades of lavender around the house…)

Wonderful… they need and deserve some quality recording.

I need some lavender, the old plant I had died a few years ago.

Can’t grow lilac here, but I have fond memories of it from childhood. My wisteria is finishing the spring bloom now. I love lavender too!

How are thing on the west coast?

Going to visit family… deliver belated xmas gifts. Have requests for camellias, but not finding great/inexpensive ones at the farmers mkt this year.

Don’t understand why as the camellias have been (and still are) spectacular, this year (the cold weather perhaps). Perhaps all the plants were snapped up before I started looking.

That is a really nice find as Kelly said the organ is good and the guys are down home and good natured. The kitchen is so old fashioned and the lighting is modest. We have a Danish bakery here and the guy is doing great while the rest of the businesses are down 15-20% in the local mall. Danes are smart.

wisteria is going strong here.. Love it.

OH, which was your favorite? I had so many to review this evening…. didn’t have time to give other solanders a once over.

Things are really good here. I retired! The earthquake didn’t cause any damage, and the garden is planted.

Best luck on the job hunt; did you apply for a census job? My daughter got one, and it pays $16.50 per hour and .50 per mile for travel. Not bad.

You seem to be in a spot/zone about one week ahead of ES.

I went by some friends who have had a NO WAR sign in there yard for years. He and his wife of five years have decided that the people have to change from the inside to change the world. She is a fine artist with body forms as a base for her paintings and a psycho therapist. I blew of my best friend last weekend did not tell them. Like losing my 15 year rot/shep keep on keeping on but different.

My cousin in Denver worked 20 years as executive assistant and goes on interviews but no takers. She has never been unemployed before. She does not want more unemployment she wants to work at 55. So do the rest of the 10 million folks. I just volunteer and do something that way no pay though.
Tw3K you have my best wishes to hook up with a long term job. One of my friend is ready to start selling of thing to feed her family. This is intolerable while Wall Street turns big gains, profits and salaries and they were given taxpayer billions.

The map shows this country is between Russia and China north of Afghanistan. We have the use of a military base their. is this part of controlling oil in Central Asia. What does the Oil Oligarchy have to do with this? Just wondering out loud.
