And are there any –

The whole hope of the wingnuts is that there will be revolution and their side will be in total control. Our SCOTUS is on their side, eg. clarence thomas, so we will get no relief in that direction. Too many congressional members are in favor of a revolution, but they want to do it in a “legal” manner. If they can get control of the the congress, they will impeach obamarahma and then biden. In that way they will take over the government. Goodbye any hope of net neutrality, Social Security, Medicare, and hello tax rates of near zero for the rich, any environmental protections, and financial regulations on banksters and wall st. Unfortunately, the wingnuts will not be able to control the monster that they set free without calling on mercenaries who have no reason to control their murderous instincts or on the real military who also have no compunction about murder, as we have recently seen.
To be honest I haven’t been over there in years. Watching my clothes dry on the line is time better spent.

Tea Partiers, it seems to me, are being riled up just for the sake of being riled up. In other words, I think the Scaifes, the Kochs, et al, just want them actively angry at the Dems bc they are convenient “boogyman.” Really it doesn’t matter who the Tea Party is mad at, as long as it distracts them from how badly they, themselves, are being ripped off by their corporate overlords. It’s been a great strategy and it works.
I don’t really think it matters one way or the other, whether Ds or Rs are putatively “in charge.” Ds and Rs are but two faces of our one corporate party, and we are in thrall to the corporations. I have democratic friends, who while they do not behave insanely like many tea partiers do, drink the kool aid just as deeply and think that the Ds are doing a “fabulous” job and/or come up with various “excuses” for why Obummer couldn’t do what he promised and such.
The differnece seems to be that most Ds these days have a more reasonable approach but are equally brainwashed (on some levels at least).

After all, we get to view the wonders of Markos Moulitsas, CIA, on KO & stuff. What’s the difference? I find both quite equally awful with little to recommend for viewing either. Yes, yes, Kos does not advocate attacking innocent census workers with guns or knives… agreed. In that sense, like many Ds, Kos is more “reasonable.” Otherwise… eh?
I agree with most of what you said, but I disagree that it is because of teabaggers or idiots like Erik or Glenn or Rush or Billo, or Roger Ailes or Rupert Murdoch, or whomever that it is “impossible” for BHO to “govern the country.”
I would politely and respectfully suggest that BHO is “in” on the Kabuki show, and Obamarahma could well “govern the country” in a way that most Democratic voters wanted him to – as in all the campagin promises that BHO made to us – but Rahmbama is equally in the pockets of our collective corporate overlords. And BHO is merely doing what the corporations have paid him to do: what you see is what you get, and it is nothing to do with the likes of creeps and cretins like Erik son of Erik.
Erikson & his ilk are just window dressing put out there to distract ALL of us from what’s really going on “behind the curtain.”

Apparently none of you have a problem with the GOVERNMENT collecting personal data on it’s citizens.
apparently sir you dont care how many seats your state might pick up in congress? do you know, that the census is how they figure how many representatives a state has? i think your douchebag comment would be much better suited for red state. if you took your head out of your ass for a second to think about it, the patriot act is an actual threat to liberty as opposed to the census, which helps to do things like provide appropriate funding for public schools. in fact this makes sense almost, none of you inbred bumpkins fill out your census, you dont receive enough government money for public education, your schools go to shit, and successfully continue to reproduce another generation of complete idiots! eat shit.
Sir, you do realize that just about anytime you use a service or buy a product, your giving away your information? If you go to a auto service shop, or buy electronics you usually have to give your phone number and address. Whenever you use your credit or debit card especially online, you are giving away your information for business to do as they wish.
Why don’t you have the same fear of corperations as you obviously have of the federal government?

Anyway, how does the COUNTING OF CITIZENS, as mandated by the Constitution, include the collection of personal data? The census has been taken since the inception of this country, and no attempt was ever made to collect personal data. You really don’t seem very conversant on this subject.
Huh, are you aware that there is a big difference between what the Government has a right to, and what rights you have in divulging personal information. I don’t know about this credit card thing, as I haven’t had one since the late seventies, when I decided that I didn’t like being screwed. As to the fear thing, will, it’s like this. A corporation, or even a few corporations, that I would have to deal with usually don’t have a police force that can arrest me, nor do they have a standing army that can impose their will on me, nor do I have to do business with a corporation, if I so choose.
