Meanwhile, Bob Herbert is blistering this morning.
At some point, we have to decide as a country that we just can’t have this: We can’t allow ourselves to remain silent as foaming-at-the-mouth protesters scream the vilest of epithets at members of Congress — epithets that The Times will not allow me to repeat here.
It is 2010, which means it is way past time for decent Americans to rise up against this kind of garbage, to fight it aggressively wherever it appears. And it is time for every American of good will to hold the Republican Party accountable for its role in tolerating, shielding and encouraging foul, mean-spirited and bigoted behavior in its ranks and among its strongest supporters.
[...]
This is the party of trickle down and weapons of mass destruction, the party of birthers and death-panel lunatics. This is the party that genuflects at the altar of right-wing talk radio, with its insane, nauseating, nonstop commitment to hatred and bigotry.
Glenn Beck of Fox News has called President Obama a “racist” and asserted that he “has exposed himself as a guy, over and over and over again, who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.”
Mike Huckabee, a former Republican presidential candidate, has said of Mr. Obama’s economic policies: “Lenin and Stalin would love this stuff.”
The G.O.P. poisons the political atmosphere and then has the gall to complain about an absence of bipartisanship.
Read the whole thing. Herbert has never been better.

Thanks for highlighting Herbert’s piece. It’s a desperately needed smack-down of the moran contingent.

I just started watching the Keith Olbermann show, but I really despise the spin about the “universal coverage” that was passed on Sunday night. Really? Really? Why are we spinning to our own side? Don’t you remember how this bill was passed? All the things it doesn’t do? The personal mandate that is unconstitutional? All these things stand out as obvious issues that need to be addressed.
Why is Rob Emmanuel being hailed as God’s gift to the world when he sold the soul of the Democratic party?
Good God this country is so doomed.
Thanks for posting this.
Since I’ve been avoiding MSNBC and their relentless cheerleading, I hadn’t seen it.
BTW, is what Keith said — that the penalties for non-purchase of insurance have been “reduced to nothing” — true?
Any increase of the penalties on insurance companies for doing bad things?
The guy who writes one of those blogs is on SSDI…way too funny. He hates the gub’mint, but don’t forget to get the Eagle to crap in his bank account monthly.

Americans are more comfortable living with the lie and the myth than the truth and the promise. It’s only a matter of time.
meh olbermann and maddow
such a waste
I have noticed that so far all the papers and media have been for the health profit insurance bill
that tell us right there, corporate america endorses this bill, never a good sign
I agree with wireat, this is all deflection from the biggest spin ever.
I didn’t hear a single critical squeek out of KO and Rachel on the Kucinich cop out.
Not a single squeek on this bill and the process, the neglected majority (public option), the lies (60 votes, if only…), the spin.
The GOP is bad, absolutely, but this heightened attack level is nothing but faux outrage, smoke and mirrors and deflecting from this ugly, ugly bad bad monstrosity of a bill.
And Blue Texan (like many others, Kos, moveon?) fall for it hook line and sinker.
Sad really.
I think liberals really need to start thinking twice about glorifying infotainment stars.
OT: Michael Moore on DemocracyNow!
Funny to call this “universal coverage”. At least 23 million Americans left out. That’s the number of Americans who lacked coverage in the early 90′s and they called it a crisis.
Of course they are. Look at who their advertisers are. If you watch television notice how almost 1/3 of advertising is by big pharma. The media has been co-opted by the cash cow. It’s a reinforcing loop of money.
Moore sez fine for denying preexisting conditions is $100/day, which is a lot cheaper than providing the care. So much for that ‘benefit’ of HCR.
Has any of the “liberal” media “stars” asked the question, “If this legislation is so great for the American people why do they have to wait anywhere from 4 to 8 years for it’s provision to take effect?” Can they really ask the question why do Americans have to continue to pay the highest prices in the world for medications when most of their ad revenue comes from big pharma. Money has corrupted the system beyond any possibility of meaningful reform.
There seems to be a “support BO at any cost and to hell with women” attitude out there that I hope will come back to haunt. This Insurance Co. Care bill is discriminatory to women and the elderly and yet is being lauded as the best thing since sliced bread by Oh Bummah! supporters. Well I am elderly and my spouse’s business is Women’s Health Care, her business is going to suffer with this crap and I am going to have to pay more and more for health care. Thanks Oh Bummah! you POS
Very true. MSNBC knows its target demo well, and it doesn’t include many poor people.
I don’t mean to get too picky here, but “Keith Olbermann’s Special Comment” title, and the video, followed by a long quote that looks like a transcript of some of the video, is very confusing. I read “Herbert has never been better” and thought, “Herbert? Who is Herbert? This is KO.”
I suggest instead of “Blistering” for a link, you mention Frank Herbert explicitly somewhere above the long quote so it is clear what you are quoting. I was totally confused. I did see the special comment; I had not read the Frank Herbert piece.
That “target demo” isn’t very intelligent and that has no class distinction.
The youth of America helped get Obama elected, and to show his thanks he forces a mandate on them to buy insurance they can’t afford, to help offset the premiums of older folks who are at the peak of their earning potential.
Thanks kids.
KO has no grounds to criticize anyone for a lack of decency. He is the same as Limbaugh, Hannity, and Tea Partiers in whipping up discourse on the extremes. His being left, their’s being right.
It’s Bob Herbert. Frank Herbert wrote science fiction.
The whole thing is like something from Gogol.
I should re-phrase: this obessing about a party that is totally irrelevant by the braindead veal penn lapdogs while ignoring the fascist sell-out of the dem party is a fucking shame and a fucking waste of time.
OK, you’re right of course (I used to read Frank Herbert). But my comment stands. As presented this post is confusing as hell.
Read these posts for several days. You are the teabaggage of the left. I would prescribe a course of Elavil. Thanks to the Early Morning Swim, I have come to believe that many of you are only happy when you are losing. Please, vote Republican (or third party) next time. You’ll feel better.
As deplorable as any action the common teabagger may have committed, it is only a side show to draw our attention away from the larger issues. Pressing the anger buttons of ‘racism’ or any other injustice has a way of trying to solidify the party against a common enemy. This is all a rouse, a way to make us forget the horrible mistake that was just committed. Yes, horrible.. common Americans are racists or homophobes, never would have guessed. Give me a break.
The issue here is healthcare or is it already such old news now that we just need to vilify the boogie-man to try to get us in line for the November elections?
Exactly. The action of the TP was despicable–but seriously KO criticizing—beating my head on the desk. Looks like a look over there—not here tactic–just saying-
OT: Norman Finkelstein on DemocracyNow!
Heh, do you know who you’re commenting to?
Perhaps, but they do shape their content to appeal to higher income groups that their advertisers will pay more money for.
I’m active in historic preservation. If you want to be on the losing side almost all the time, you might try that for a cause. Some causes are worth working toward even if you lose most of the time. Real medical care for all Americans would be such a cause. The bill does nothing of the sort.
That’s a joke, right? $100 a day for denying a PEC? Someone needs to ask O-Rhama about that directly… if there are any journos with balls who would do it.
Wow, if you watch the Olbermann podcast from 1:55 to 2:07 (12 seconds), Olbermann says, “…pass near universal healthcare coverage…” Really? I mean wasn’t he the guy who had that 30 minute special comment on healthcare stemming from his father’s situation? Is this the healthcare he was begging and pleading for Congress to pass? If it wasn’t he sure didn’t give much indication of that last night. Was it all a show? Just seems rather disingenuous based on what passed and how he sounded.
I could really care less about the teabaggers and the slurs they may use, I care more about the sincerity of those we listen to on a daily basis for news and views. If they are just puppets then why bother listening to them at all.
While not exactly the same, Bill Hicks had it so right:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXpdJLJqG9U
No one in the corporate press, print or broadcast, is asking the questions or discussing why Obama didn’t push for a public option (the fix was already in). Keep the masses in the dark is how they get away with what they do.
Like I’ve been saying for years now — the only difference between the RNC and the KKK is the thread count of their sheets.
You should thank the kids. Would you want Palin, now to be a heartbeat away from the presidency? Would you rather have saw her in Israel last week? Would you even have a health care bill to complain about if the ‘kids’ hadnt shown up?
This bill is not what progressives bargained for, especially since most progressives in congress did no actual bargaining, but it is better than last week. Obama is not the FDR of our generation because he is the Obama of our generation. He is not a progressive fighter, he is a centrist panderer, but atleast he tries to go toward a progressive agenda.
In the end the ‘kids’ actually got what they voted for. Any 18 or 19 or 20 year old who voted for Obama is now able to stay on their parents insurance until 26 (as long as their parents have jobs with benifits). That is democracy at work!
Spread the word………………….
Ding Dong! ACORN is dead. Which ACORN? The Wicked ACORN!
Ding Dong! The Wicked ACORN is dead.
Wake up – sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Wicked ACORN is dead. It’s gone where the goblins go,
Below – below – below. Yo-ho, let’s open up and sing and ring the bells out.
Ding Dong’ the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know
The Wicked ACORN is dead!
Oh joy! Rapture!
Which is why it should be easier for the left media to have more integrity in their reporting. Facts and fairly reasoned analysis, not emotional manipulation and bias first. That’s what Fox does. Maddow is usually better than KO imo.
The dim leaders don’t keep the masses in the dark; the masses want to stay in the dark, even when the truth is presented to them. Just look at all of the educated people who are members of groups that claimed opposition to much of the results of the hcr bill. There is a willful turning away from the truth and to a fantasy constructed, much as the teabaggers do on the other side.
And what truth would that be.
I have a nit to pick with the Herbert column.
He says the NYTimes won’t let him reprint the slurs.
Why they hell not? How are people who don’t have the time to watch CSPAN all day, supposed to understand just how outrageous the behavior was.
NYTimes should REQUIRE Herbert to print the information accurately
Can you imagine someone accusing someone else of being a “racist”?
So true–that is all I am looking for—truth and integrity—not spin and lies. Even CNN who claims to be neutral is far from neutral or they just cover irrelevant issues ad nauseam to avoid the controversy—MHOO
As I said earlier. Americans can’t handle the truth. They would rather live with the lie and the myth than the truth and the promise.
Yes, Bear Country—Leslie Stahl is a prime example. Did you see her on MJ? She supports the bill and doesn’t see a problem with a little more taxes if you are getting so much? Even Lawrence O’Donnell was surprised that someone in her position in the media was so uninformed.
I would love for you to link some clips of Olbermann suggesting that soldiers who support Bush are “phony,” calling Condi Rice a “magic negro”, or mocking Parkinson’s victims.

Eh? What do we call David Duke?
Keith came out months ago and promised to never be forced to buy insurance. He claimed he would gladly be one of the ones who refused to be mandated into buying into the corporate insurance industry.
Where is that Keith O now?
Ah yes, he is distracting American liberals by once again, playing into the false, left/right divide.
there were an estimated 20,000 people (“tea partyers”) protesting the passage of this bad bill, but rather than reporting that…
… Keith and the MSM focus ONLY on the 4 agent provocatures who were there to discredit all the rest.
Why did they do that? Simple folks, the LAST thing they want you to know is that you might just have something in common with the people on the other side of the line.
and Keith where is Keith now on his pledge to not buy insurance?
And does anyone have Rush’s emigration plans now that health insurance reform has passed?
David Duke is a racist. Therefore we can deduce that most people in the tea party must be racist. How simple.
Guess what, Sparky, we can start something up just as effective with a different name and some of the same folks. Just a little sumpthin to help give ya nightmares. I love bein’ in nightmares for reichwingers.
How ignorant.
Well, aoyama, let’s start with obamarahma’s stand on FISA: he was opposed to retroactive immunity, but how did he vote? Help for homeowners? Only if you really consider the banks to be home owners. Transparency in what happens in the WH? How did those backroom deals work out for you? I don’t think that you need me to go on because the proof is all over the place. You’ve read it time and again, but you won’t accept it, so we will just have to have different views of obamarahma.
You’re home schooling has not served you well. The tin man needed a heart. It was the scarecrow that wanted a brain. It would appear you have neither.
Blah blah..yes Olbermann keep attacking the teenie tiny minority party and brand them all that is evil in the country…thats was corporate democratic appologists do.
By the way, anyone know if the millionaire olbermann at least kept his pledge to cancel his health insurance since the bill does include a mandate but no public option? Can he live up to his own Kabuki? Considering he is a millionaire its mainly symbolic, which is Kabuki, so I bet he did keep the pledge.
Do you know for a fact that he has changed his stance on this? Link please?
(And KO is wealthy enough not to NEED insurance in the 14 years until he’s eligible for Medicare.)
Are you enjoying knocking down those straw men?
He also donated (at least) $50K to the freeclinics.us. Did you donate? Or are you just sitting here throwing spitballs?
I venture that aoyama’s comment was sarcasm without the /s tag.
And P.S. Thanks for changing the post to add a clearer reference to Bob Herbert. Much clearer!
/editor
Please cite an example of Keith Olbermann calling people names that are universally regarded as slurs, or mocking sick people, or comparing conservatives to Hitler, Stalin or Pol Pot. Please provide a link or you examples are lies or exaggerations and your accusations specious.
Again, cite some specific examples of the diarists, front page writers or commenters here calling out people due to race, ethnicity, physical condition, or economic status. FDL keeps archives, feel free to dive into them.
Some of you trolls and constant criticizers love to come around and just spout accusations. All of your criticisms of the left, (of which there is plenty to be critical about), instead focus on false equivalencies. Calling somebody despicable for starting two wars of aggression, driving this country into economic ruin, approving torture and spying on it’s own citizens is not the same as calling someone a racist based on nothing but bigotry. Peaceful protesters who do things like chain themselves to a fence to make a point isn’t the same thing as armed people screaming racial epithets and spitting on passersby. Mocking and throwing money at sick people isn’t the same as being a mime and blowing whistles. Vandalism of an office isn’t the same as writing your member of congress with a grievance and finally, though it might happen, I don’t know any left leaning person who hangs out at right wing blogs solely in order to get his or her jollies by hurling ridiculous accusations and being disruptive. Grow up. You must not be morning people so instead of taking your anger of having to get up and go to work out where it could cost you, you come here. Sorry you hate your job so much but there are millions who would love to have it.
Wow. Here’s something I found very interesting folks. Seems this crappy bill isn’t as popular as the blogs online would have you believe. I am shocked /sarcasm.
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/obama_and_democrats_health_care_plan-1130.html
Not only that, but polls show it didn’t increase Obama’s or Congress’ popularity even a percentage point. Imagine that. Guess I should apologize to people. They aren’t as stupid as I thought.
I agree. He’s broken alot of promises. Much betrayal.
I’ve never been made aware of David Duke being involved with the teabaggers. How scary is that if they are too crazy for him?
Probably not as much as KO.
I am sorry you do not care about the slurs….spitting on a Congressman is really a “slur in action.” Appalling.
I think the liberals who support Obama’s rightwing policies use the teabaggers to sort of imagine this is the ’60′s all over again. The Democrats passing good bills in the face of tremendous, wrong-headed opposition. The problem with such analogies is there are not thousands of marchers supporting the bills. The legislation proposed by Obama and passed by Congress has no ardent group of supporters so the analogies fall flat. Are lots of the teabag people, maybe even a majority of them, ignorant, racists sickos? Entirely possible. But some, even maybe just a few of them may just be distrustful of the government and wall street, which is pretty rational. I think Robert Reich has it right when he talks about a possible Mad as Hell Party emerging. Those in the teabag movement who are angry but not rightwing fruit cakes may split off from the other baggers and join was it obviously the growing, angry, and under reported end of the left. This isn’t really just a distraction. People yelling out “f****t” and “n****r” to any of our citizens deserve a special place in hell. But I think there is a sense from the Left of the Democratic Party that doesn’t appreciate the Party passing long time Republican policies proposals that feels their story is being nuetralized by the teabag fascination.
Keith could have reported on the war protests that very same day, or the massive immigration rally, or even the lack of a counter supporter rally, but he focused like a laser beam on the teabag crowd. I understand it probably boost ratings. But how many special comments will we see on the baggers between now and election day?
I don’t see the Operation Rescue folks headlining any Tea Party gatherings either.
watched a little tv last night. Usually don’t.
The teevee is presenting this as a win by the D’s against the R’s. and John McCain is going to repeal it— or have a spirited campaign… etc.
It is totally being set up as Us vs. Them. Simple stories that most people can understand. Color War- at day camp.
Although, I would hate to see the R’s retake Congress, and then say it is proof that they were right all along — it is not enough to make me hold the party line and vote for the same, lame Democrats.
If we do lose seats in Congress, the teevee will spin it all kinds of ways, many nonsensical, many untrue, but it’s not enough to get me to vote the same way/ and hold the line.
but my prediction is that this huge scale Kabuki will be set up that now we need to help the Dems in Congress keep their seats, or the R’s will take away the Obama victory, Pelosi’s victory, the points our team scored.
well, it’s all bunk, and I’m not falling for it.
I predict it will be repeated several (hundred) thousand times before November.
cc
Well, Margaret his inferences that the Clintons were racists, or that Howard Dean should take Hillary in a backroom and only Dean would emerge were certainly not pretty.
If I had a voice of prominence in the national media, I wouldnt use it to further show how mortally bankrupt I was by shilling for a fascist corporate establishment. They shill for insurance cartels that are almost literraly feeding on americans like vampires.
This is the same fascists that crashed the economy stealing a trillion+ from the taxpayer, which has led my employer to fire half the staff, enforce a 10% paycut on everyone left, freeze on raises for near 2 yrs now, and forced everyone to pay a portion of their healthcare if they want to keep coverage.
I think I have payed enough dues to the fascists thanks.
Nor do you see any left wing politicians speaking at ELF rallies. This whole meme about the left being just as bad as the right is so wrong just on the surface that it’s astonishing that when MSM talking heads bring it up, it isn’t met instantly with the laughter and derision it deserves. Maybe if the “left” was actually left, instead of being center right, there might be some of that going on but it’s just not the case. It’s a matter of magnitude. It’s comparing a G class star to a supernova.
I caught that too and had to do a double take.
That’s the first and the ONLY place I’ve heard that.
I’m wondering if he was trying to give himself cover for a former Special Comment in which he pledged civil disobedience regarding the mandate, and asked his viewers to join him.
There’s been virtual silence from him about that mandate ever since.
His assertion about zero fines yesterday is curious, to say the least.
Yeah, I wrote and asked him to explain where he gets that. Maybe he was thinking about the almost zero fines the insurance companies will get for rescission and denial of coverage.
I like to post articles that are related to the video, so it’s not two of the same thing — but that citation wasn’t clear enough. Thanks.
Yeah, I was going to mention that. I was reading the piece under the video and thinking, “I watched that special comment and I wasn’t stoned…how the hell did I miss all of that?” Until I rolled over the link, I had no idea where you got that text. Thanks.
I am appalled by the slurs and spitting, but I am even more appalled and frightened by increasing level of this violent behavior. Whether it’s racist or not, and I think it is in many instances, it will spiral out of control and could result in an assassination (attempted or successful) of a public official, even President Obama. I have lost my enthusiasm for Obama, which wasn’t strong to begin with after FISA, but I do not want him or his family or any other public official to come to harm.
Dan Rather said (on Rachel, IIRC) that he has never seen the country so angry.
Never since the Civil War have elected officials encouraged such behavior en masse. The odd one here or there has been run out of DC on a rail.
He’s been virtually silent about it since that pledge of civil disobedience.
Then, last night, he started his Special Comment with an assertion that there will be no fines for noncompliance of the mandate. (I’ve not heard or read this anywhere else.)
I took away from that an implied negation of his previous pledge and now that, according to him, there won’t be fines, the bill is good.
Very disappointed, but he DOES work for GE and they stand to make billions on this corporate welfare bill.
I agree totally. The violence has to end.
I haven’t seen any documented proof of Lewis’s claim. I have seen a bunch of video on his walk, and did not hear the N word anywhere….if it exists….Show it!
in all honesty
I find myself much less concerned with the state of the right as I do with the state of the left.
As long as we continue to be cravenly, cowardly, and roll over whenever ORahma say so there will never be a v iable opposition to make the right stand down.
I get your point, but until we’re organized and Kos is no longer our face we’re in no position to do anything.
Funny you should bring up ELF. I certainly don’t agree with their tactics but philosophically I’m a supporter of both ELF and ALF.
I definitely agree with your observation that many who refer to themselves as on the left are in reality center-right.
Well, then Dan Rather slept through the ’60′s. LOL
I am not voting for bad dems that give me bills they admit are republican bills just because some republicans call names
The culture war is just a show, to keep people voting lesser evil and I ain’t into it anymore!
If the video you saw had a number of Congresscritters walking arm and arm up the Capitol steps you were looking at a video taken the day following the incident.
From HuffPo
From NYT
it is unfortunate, in my opinion, you included the KO special comment along with the bob herbert op-ed column in today’s nytimes. herbert’s column was excellent, heartbreaking written by an african american and courageous considering the violence the gop incited tea partiers are now crossing.
Shame me all you want, but the actions of one idiot right winger does not warrant a “special comment” when Congress sold the public a bunch of goods and sent the soul of the Democratic party down the river this past weekend. It is all smoke and mirrors.
Please, if you live in such a politically correct world that a racial slur or spitting or whatever by some idiot right winger is enough to get you worked up into a tizzy, you’re a lost cause. It is all smoke and mirrors. Go ahead, sorry to disturb the illusion. Keep buying the party message.
Right wing idiot doing something stupid is less important than the crap that was sold to the American people this past weekend.
“I have noticed that so far all the papers and media have been for the health profit insurance bill
that tell us right there, corporate america endorses this bill, never a good sign”
It should also, if I might add tell us how useful the power establishment finds it to pitch the left’s numb-nuts against the right’s teabaggers. Failure to recognize the overt incitement is a failure of introspection on our side.
Agree.
Can we outlaw the GOP now? I’d like to see some suicidal congresscritter introduce such a bill, just to stir the pot. Would be fun to watch. John McCain asserts that as of now the GOP will become obstructive and not participate in legislating (who could imagine?). If they refuse to do their job, sack ‘em for cause. Maybe we could convince Alan Grayson to find a suitably snarky way to do this. Clever guy.
Agree. While I abhore and decry (I do; I found it disgusting) the racial bigoted nasty behavior, I also agree that it’s all part of the smoke and mirrors Kabuki show of this joke of a piece of legislation that gives away even more money to the corporations than ever before.
I rarely watch KM and RM anymore, but I found KO’s “outrage” in his special comment hard to watch. He had a lot of good points in terms of upset with disgusting behavior, but I agree that’s not really what’s the big issue. I kept wanting to shout out: but who’s that man behind the curtain, Keith????? Ya know: that man who just ripped us all off, plus riled up those teabaggers to act out in that abhorent fashion, plus arranged for ALL of the media to focus ONLY & SOLELY on that behavior endlessly all weekend???
I also watched RM and KO to see if they’d give the merest mention about the anti-war protests that went on all around the country on the anniversary of the start of bogus lie of a war in Iraq. My understanding is that there were something like 10,000 (I don’t have a link) protestors at the White House and something like 1500 teabaggers at Congress. Plus there were numerous other anti-war protests in cities across the country.
From KO and RM: crickets. For shame!!
Sadly, KO and RM have turned into the ersatz “lefie” commentary brought to you by your corporate overlords at GE. It was a good run for a while, but at this stage: fahgeddaboudit.
Some people criticize FDL posts for being “too negative” or whatever about this POS legislation. I say to them and everyone: thank gawd for posters here and our push-back against the lies and bullshit brought to you by cynical, manipulative BHO, Rahm and the Dimocrats in Congress.
Yeah, yeah, compare us to the angry teabaggers if you will. Perhaps that analogy is not unapt, albeit it’s extremely rare to see leftists behaving in the disgusting manner that the right does. But I agree with some here who see the tea partiers as not ALL being racists. The bigoted among the teabaggers are being deliberately incited to behave that way as part of the ongoing Kabuki show.
IF there’s no push back from the left and/or the right, then we are truly home and hosed and our goose is beyond being cooked. Standing up and pointing out the bald truth is not always popular. But as they say (for a reason): the truth shall set you free.
Bob Herbert deserves to write the piece that he did, and I’m truly sorry to see the ugly nasty face of racism and bigotry.
But to say that KO is telling anything close to “the truth” these days is just laughable, pitiful and sad. And btw KO also had smug-faced lapdog Markos on last night to praise the Dimocrats and their fabulousness… I had to change the channel after about 10 seconds of that crap.
Onwards and upwards. Keep pushing against the barricades. Would that this POS legislation truly were “socialized medicine.” Then we’d have something to celebrate.
Yes, zero mention of the anti war protests, yet Keith still ends his show by telling us how many days it’s been since ‘the previous administration declared mission accomplished’.
Shameful indeed.
I’ve never done this:
(((onitgoes)))
KO makes, I believe, $5 mil a year from a media conglomerate that rakes in billions in revenue from insurance companies and pharma. Can’t really expect him to bite the hand that feeds him.
And did anybody notice that on Sunday Rachel gave a huge speech to 1,000 people at the Clinton Foundation? Bet that gig paid well.
Look at the bright side: give up watching KO and Rachel and you gain ten hours a week in time to do something that actually might improve your life or the state of the country.
Funny…I am not a lost cause, and I am just fine with my sensibilities…yours? Not so sure.
