The Teabaggers’ man in Arizona is not having a good week.
J.D. Hayworth is the Arizona Republican senatorial candidate that actually makes us root for John McCain. He thinks men will marry horses if gay marriage is allowed. Tonight, Maddow revisited her bout with Hayworth last night and showed pretty convincingly that J.D. Hayworth’s mouth is incapable of forming words that are not completely false.
For example: Hayworth told Maddow that she was wrong in saying he had been one of congresses top recipients of money from crook-lobbyist Jack Abramoff. He was actually just ninth, he said! Turns out, that was a lie; he was ninth only if you counted “groups” in addition to individual legislators.
What a clown.

About Firedoglake
The problem is that the morons that follow him don’t give a rats ass whether he’s lying or not.
Good morning all.
Joe has Blanche on you swine bloggers!
She’s “the monkey in the middle”!
She just threw out the great southernism, “I feel like that this is the right thing to do”!
Articulate.
Wow, that’s a strange filter?????
That’s what she called herself.
OMG, she works with Saxby!
Did Woodward imply that Snowe and Lincoln were two of the only sane people in congress?
Citizen Norske was looking for you on Greg Levine’s diary yesterday to tell you his kid was accepted at Evanston.
Pardon me if you already touched base.
Rachel’s show is becoming more irrelevant all the time. With everything that is going on who cares about what JD has to say. Yesterday Ed had Tancredo on so he cld defend himself against Dick Armey, is this the best that progressive tv has to offer?
“I’m the greatest. If you don’t believe that, just ask me.”
Missed that but he’s now explaining that the Nixon era was the era of hate in reference to the “good ol days in the senate”!
so don’t watch it
We’ve been dancin around each other, thx.
Mornin’, BT, Raven, eCAHN
St Patrick’s Day. Just another amateur hour in the local watering holes. And lots of DUIs.
Pete Hamill’s “A Drinking Life” is a great story of alcohol and the Irish and how he stopped.
They “sin taxed” me out of drinkin’ and smokin’.
Good morning SD. I have democracynow on another window as usual. Grayson’s the guest.
Is he gonna sell out like the rest of these assholes?
Good morning, pups. Do you suppose that smarmy Hayworth is aiming to be a Boehner tanning understudy? What a creep. Just made my skin crawl to watch him.
I’m reluctant to say because I’m not sure I understand what he said. I think he said he would vote yes on the combined. But I’m not in the weeds on this issue so I might have missed something.
Amy just said: “Grayson said he would vote for the current bill, although he wishes it were different.”
Since the Tea Party is not endorsing him, the Teabagger comment must actually refer to an oral / scrotal fixation.
Wow. Now there’s a strong stand. Thinks Biden should have been told in advance of his trip to Israel. When pressed 2 or 3 times about Israel’s building in East Jerusalem, said Israel would never give up that land.
What is a person to do with all that dirty money…hire two bookkeepers!
Another one goes down the drain. Man that sewer is getting full.
To think that I was campaign treasurer and did the bookkeeping, both as a volunteer. Every penny went to campaign materials and events.
Exactly.
Israel can do whatever they want as long as the U.S. remains their client state.
Old J.D. makes McCain look like Mr. Honesty. Does the T.P. have a clue??!
Yes. dn had a guest who argued, based on Petreus saying that I-P situation was dangerous to U.S. troops, that a real change is occurring in U.S.-I relations, esp after the Biden dustup. Yawn. How many times have we heard that.
Tim Kaine says those smart politicians that vote for this health scam will be “rewarded” wink wink nudge nudge
Heard that also. With AIPAC as a shadow government I don’t see any major change, just more “tough” talk.
Well, I guess we’ve entered the era of one party rule – the Elite Capitalist Party.
Might escalate to sending sternly worded letters.
Off to swim in the great capitalist cesspool.
US KIA Irak: 4,383
US KIA Afghanistan: 1,022
Iraki and Afghan casualties: estimates vary to over 1.5M
US MBS 2010: 9.300 and counting
Be good to yourselves, and all other living things.
Namaste
We’re all serfs now.
I dunno, I never seen it before. I find it weeeeerrrrrrry interesting. Somethin’s up,esp with Rahm holding dual citizenship and a knife to Obama.
New post up top…
ACTIVISTS! What kind of “activists”???? right wing?
Anyone know if cspan will carry DK’s news conference?
You’d think with all that talk about horses…………..
What’s wrong with the right wingnuts that they keep falling for Ass holes like JD
He says “activists in the party”…….so……who? Moveon?
¨The problem is that the morons that follow him don’t give a rats ass whether he’s lying or not.¨
Bingo!
I watched about half of the Geithner interview last night before flipping the off switch. Kid gloves, to put it nicely. Further, about 30 minutes prior I listened to an interview with William Black on the Dodd proposal. A very stark contrast. If Rachel is real, she’ll invite Bill Black on her show to critique the Geithner interview. If not, well…
As a general matter, we must always keep in mind the fact that Rachel works for General Electric. Toe the line or hit the bricks.
¨The problem is that the
moronsmorans that follow him don’t give a rats ass whether he’s lying or not.¨Fixed it.
And that’s one way the corporate media co-opts progressive voices. Put them on the payroll and then they have a stake in the status quo.
Actually, since the last election, Rachel works for the Dem party. I honestly thought “ah, here is a REAL journalist” at first, but have come to the conclusion she is no different than Fox. Just a diff party. So much for unbiased, factual reporting. Oh well, back to the Daily Show and Colbert for REAL news.
A horse is a horse, of course of course. . .
Prolly…or KOS
and I thank you for that….;o)
Like DailyKos, RM & KO have become increasingly irrelevant, and I spend less and less time watching their shows. I realize that GE runs them, so they have to follow their master’s orders or get out. They still have occassional stuff that’s of value, but less and less often.
Last night Lawrence O’Donnell wasted a segment showing how nasty Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh are… like as if I don’t already know what jerkoff clowns those 2 are. They’ll say anything for a buck and there is nothing that they won’t stoop to. Why do I even want to know anything about their nastiness du jour? It’s the same old, some old.
Then I saw that RM was going to interview Geithner, and I thought: fahgeddaboudit. She’ll put on the kid gloves and act all intensely interested in every pearl of wisdom that eminates from his mouth. There’s not much that Geithner can say that interests me, unless he feels like telling the truth some day. Until that time, I have better things to do.
It’s too bad bc I think RM, esp, can be an excellent journalist; she’s done some excellent investigative journalism expecially about the C Street Family monkey business. But esp since the beginning of this year, both RM and KO have become increasingly irrelevant.
When RM started cheering last night very early in her show about how great it was going to be for Dems to pass health care… well, I just turned the tv off. Enough bullshit for one day, and that’s for sure.
OT, Michael Moore will be on NPR’s Diane Rehm Show at 11:00 am EST.

I was less uninterested in O’Donnell’s Beck/Limbaugh/Malkin piece than I was about his far too lengthy Tiger Woods piece.
100% agreed. Rachel is destroying her show with focusing so much on “gotchas”.
He got one thing right–he is absurd!
RM’s serving up softballs to Timmy Gee was something to behold, though he did claim never was a “made man” for the Gang Bankers. We report …you decide?
…so if he wasn’t a Gang Banker, does that mean he(is) was just another Wall STREET WALKER?
JD has always been an embarassment to our State and to our Nation. The one good thing about this interview is that it will help those in Arizona validify why NOT to vote for JD. McCain is the right choice, JD is a blowhard!
