Suz! To watch the toon…

It was bright and 62 today. WILD!
hey loohoo — how’s socal tonight?
A gorgeous day today…! I won’t mention temps, tho…!
Btw, I was rather ticked at any earlier diary today smearing a certain individual… So, I wrote about a real conspiracy theory…!
tis march so it could be 12 tomorrow (or so i’ve heard)
i was AFK for most of today — but i saw your diary and recommended it
Right-o: It may not be tomorrow but it shall be soon!
Nice here. Cooled off to about 55.
sweet. that was warmer than my high today of 48
i saw kelly also has a diary today
Good evening!
How’s the Chopin, Kelly?
BTW, thanks for the Victory Garden primer.
We will need it soon enough.
That toon was too real!
Had 40 at our Coffee Party today!
there’s been several garden discussions lately so i figured it was time for a garden toon
totally 1942 — the hitler face bombed into the stars and stripes by the air force…..
hey starbuck — how’s things on your side of the coast range?
wow!!! did you diary it loohoo?
Decent. We went out the gorge a bit on the Washington side but only got as far as the Pendleton Outlet store!
How’s the coast?
Thanks for the pimpage, ma’am.
If a reader is so inclined, what I need is fine, upright and ownage language, not wether you agree with my candidate. Help Me Out, OK?
some jessica
Evening, pups. Hi Suz. Watched the toon, very apropos for our times. More and more people planting gardens these days.
clearing up so cold tonight. should be nice tomorrow — weather dood said it should be sunny
hey pastfed — how ya been? glad ya liked the toon
Nah. Just a first meet up.
so….. how did it go? what were your impressions? are they progressive? do ya think ya will go again?
Doin’ good, haven’t been around LLN much lately, been turning in early. My youngest son returns from China this Thursday. It’s been a good experience for him. Among other things, a big cultural awakening.
for what its worth
that’s wonderful news — i’m sure you are looking forward to seeing his face again.
hi ‘n bye. Great toon!
It was cool. There was one old codger there wanting to start a new party or join with the greens, but most everyone came with the idea that parties don’t so much matter. We discussed top priorities…healthcare, banksters, and taking back our government. One guy suggested a televised debate with the tea partiers, which I loved, and planned our next meeting for the 27th. Basically just got names and emails and introduced ourselves.
Hiya Suz & firegods
hey sunny and g’nite sunny — glad ya liked the toon
hey ppd — how are ya tonight?
good, thanks – busy week — how’s everything up north.
Hawai’i is a physical caucus state, and, I too was disappointed that Edwards had dropped out(then…!) My wife caucused for Hill and I for Obama, I’m the precinct treasurer for my efforts, btw…! As Nike says… “Just Do It”…! ;-)
looking forward to tomorrow’s sunshine. still some snow on the peaks around the tillamook area and getting down into the mid 30′s at night at sea level.
Grazie, friend….
Lots of new snow in the cascades as well. Mt Hood picked up 18 to 20 inches, but it is way behind last year, almost 100 inched behind. Can make it up though. The peak volume last year hit mid April.
last i heard water levels were around 67% of normal in the cascades — sure hope it fills up more
wow, our local news covered the storms in new jersey — wow they got hammered
napoleon
About right. Last year this date 120″ snow, this year,99.
So I’m a bit off on the original difference as the final amount last April was 184 inches on April 15th.
TAX day!
Hi Suz-more Jessica

Loved it. Hi Suz! Hope my dog will take care of shooing away any critters in the garden-to-be for me. Not that she can catch them.
hey emerson — a win win — like them both!
how ya doing tonight?
*shrudder* don’t even wanna think about that day (i’m a procrastinator)
I’ll file the usual extension.
hey margot — i saw footage of flooding in ohio — you high and dry?
i love the usual extension — like i said, i’m a procrastinator :)
not jessica
Yes, only mishap was when my son came back from a friend’s wedding covered in mud from pushing their car out of the mud. Clay soil is the worst to get stuck in, I think.
yikes — his car or the bride and groom’s car? all mud sucks but clay really sucks
wedding
Since DST starts tomorrow, I’m off early tonight. Besides, I am beat from re-inventing the wheel, so to speak, in this case, revamping my whole approach to digital photo editing. I must be on to something because when I mentioned it on an Adobe Forum, immediately one of their engineers came on and warned me against it. Oh travesty!
IOW, I’m on to something!
Nite all!
6 months later
g’nite starbuck
Gad, Suz! You must have tones of Youtube links on hot keys!

Thanks! Oldie/Goodie
They don’t like losing that hour. Neither do I, come to think of it.
haven’t lost that hour yet on the west coast
Hi Loo Hoo. I love Richard “fallin’back in the alley.”
Change of pace…but will the circle be unbroken?
I feel sorry for all the people who don’t appreciate country/bluegrass.
I think if you pull an all-nighter, you don’t lose the hour until you fall asleep…like Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
a different alley
i love that song loohoo
no all=nighter tonight — started yawning a while ago :(
You are still here. Don’t know ’bout the alley.
Hey,all. I’m wildly awake!! Uh oh….
When we fix Health Rights, Student Rights and cooperate with the International Court in turning over our national War Criminals…I’m thinking we should do away with this stupid Time Change bullshit. It’s so fucking lame.
hey openhope — how ya doing tonight?
I’m out. Happy Sunday!
Rabblerouser.

g’nite loohoo
Yea! And after that floridation!
Good thing they created that nemonic device to help us remember
“fall forward and spring back”
Openhope, congratulations on the new toobz!
hey spocko — how ya doing tonight?
and congrats on the 100 spocko
Nice pull. :-)
Nice timing, Spocko!
thank you cats get into the act

Hey Suzanne. I’m seriously Hanging In, Hanging On. Trying to learn how to be the Bitch guardian of my independent parents with a mother recovering from 3 broken ribs. At 86.. with macular degeneration in kind of late stages. It’s fucking TOUGH !!! And rewarding. And full of boredom for all. Love on the paradigm shift.
I think we need to get a group project that has purpose. Or hit each other over the head in mid sentence with a frying pan.
LOL !!
I’d like to thank the Academy and all the now sleeping fire pups who made this achievement possible. I’d also like to thank my agent, Switfty Lazar, all the cast and crew and of course all the members of The Spocko Squad, A Quinn Martin production.
Don’t start playing that music!!
I also want to thank Suzanne who always asks me how I am doing and makes this late night the warmest place to hang out on the web. And finally Jane for putting this together.
Wow this 100 is heavier than I thought…
Thank you and good night America.
you also finding time to enjoy life with fast tubes?
wow *that’s* an acceptance speech
You Rock, spocko!!
The Thanks of a Grateful Nation.
Going to NY-Climax
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnNvrFXrt4Q
can’t go to new york without the chairman
Fast tubes? Fuck yes!! It’s what saves me from myself. It’s exciting to click and have images just pop up. I’m getting to watch all these video snaps. They’re so different from the written word. Too much fun.
i remember when i went from dialup to cable internet — it was like a whole new world opened up for me online and i had the biggest grin on my face for a long time.
gotta warn ya openhope — utubes are a forking time machine. i start surfing and swear i’ve only been doing it for a few minutes and discover a couple of hours has passed. there’s some righteous shit there
One of my Frank faves

mine
Well done, sir.
yep, right there with you. That was a great special at the height of his talent, IMO.
i love that holly hunter richard dreyfuss movie just because of that song
Luckily I’m getting broken in to the tubes in spring. I’m ordering 25 meat chicks Monday. They’ll arrive Friday.
I’m basically in a world of shit figuring the logistics out. But, 25 chicks will be a good project for my parents. Since they’ll have to be in the house for a week I’m trying not to be overwhelmed. We survived this process last spring with laying hens and it was fun, but kinda stinky. One week works.
If I had access to high speed last fall/winter, I’d probably have become a junkie. It’s way cool. But I’ve got things to do.
Diana
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vv1n6heDcEs
how cool — iirc toby has ordered chicks and blogged it at sem and over at her place
oh that is smooth emerson. love her music
diana does frankie
Don’t know that one. I thought you were gonna say the one where they’re both pilots and Dreyfuss dies and comes back. It was a remake, but can’t remember the title. Think it was one word.
openhope, meat chicks are future dinners?
always?
You should get that Live from Paris DVD. It’s sensational! Thats where that song came from.
oooh found once around’s trailer on utube
i’ll stick that on my wish list emerson
YES!! I’m a sucker for that genre.
Isn’t your birthday coming up soon? I’ll gift you that.
wasn’t that audrey hepburn’s last role before she passed? she was the angel iirc
not until october dood. i appreciate the thought tho
i remembered correctly:
Ordering laying hens is fun. I would never kill one of my hens. However these little buggers are going to live for 13-15 weeks, I’ve found a young guy who can “do the deed” [because I can't]. I can pluck, gut, etc. Just can’t actually kill them. I haven’t raised Meat Animals for 30 years.
“Gotta harden my heart..”
always trailer
i love that scene where she wears that dress and heels and all the firefighters line up to wash up so they can dance with her
yikes — it has gotten late. time for me to head out
thanks for letting me spend some time with ya tonight
g’nite all.
harden
*le poof*
I loved the original too-”A guy named Joe” with Tracy, Van Johnson, and um,,,I’m thinking Irene Dunne?
Yes, that is a great scene.
Nite Suz.
Good idea.
Sweet dreams.
Call Congress Monday and Tuesday, yes? Fuck. Shit. God Damn It. I’m doing it.
Dam-I was thinking of your dad’s birthday!
Nite, Suz. Goodnite, pups.
We don’t have Daylight Savings Time in Hawaii. Doesn’t seem to matter. Just have to remember, after it starts in the spring, that the East Coast is now SIX HOURS ahead of us [time-wise, anyway], instead of FIVE.
Always so great when you friends call “on Sunday morning” and rouse you out of bed before the sun is up.
