It started off mighty soggy this morn but did blossom into a gorgeously blue day by sunset…! The better half even asked early if the ’40′ days was over yet…! ;-)
Tried to by her a drink a couple years ago at the Fillmore when Keb was playing there. “NO!” was her answer and that mullet was righteous – couldn’t argue!
It was wonderful. We had ten participants, including staff from the Education Division. I had a great map from 1900 of Paris, and talked liked a fool. I have walked Paris for thirty years, and still love to do so.
We had a lot of fun. Wish we could attract younger readers. My little sister and I used to read Zola and walk the same streets, seeing if we could find any trace…
Wah – I had the best banana beignet ever in this vietnamese restaraunt in the Quartier Latin, I think on Rue St. Denis. And a great belgian beer on the same street. Qwak I think it was called. Bier framboise.
Set up a gym in my living room did 1.5 hours of weightlifting and stretching. Little pumped.

Now, I’ll bet you I can’t reproduce it in a 1000 years!
I did almost the same thing about 30 years ago. Saved that with some cold wine.
Ok, so give me another 30 years. (heh! I’ll be 103 then!)
I do my friend just painted a large mural on High School wall sent me some samples. it is life in the offshore kelp beds so beautiful so many life forms hanging out in there just awesome and is part of an education program. I helped her breakdown her art show at the VETS Hall several months ago. Her husband plays in the band so much talent in one family with two dynamite young boys that are into cleaning up th beaches! Next gen bring em on baby! She may follow Wylan’s footsteps the whale mural guy who lives in Maui.
I have it by memory through 3:57 in the recording I linked. Even though I’m not finished, I think I’ll put it up this weekend on the Art threads on Seminal. I frankly can’t believe I’ve managed to get through it so far since I decided to play it at Christmas, what withy everything going on.

of course he is. its only the r’s that have figured out how to game the system — and then do so.
yes, he directly profits from the state’s loss. And this is while we are in the midst of a severe budget crisis. Unbelievable!

Maui is quiet tonight. it’s been quite windy here, also raining a lot. However, we LOVE rain, because we get so little of it.
Where did you get fellatio from? Was beyond my spheres of influence.

I was raised in SE Asia, never saw Europe.
As to great jazz shows, from when I started going?
’70. Thru to ’76 or so.
I saw great jazz fests in the Bay Area (SF) at various venues, that were two day concerts.
I never saw Miles.
I saw the rest of them.

The whole French/Parisian mystique is enthralling, but I never got that way.
I went to the mountains of CA to find my soul, as a late teen and early 20 something.
Never went abroad, was raised abroad . . .
If I had the money, I’d do Europe and sleep in hostels if I could.
For the music, art, languages, and to show some of them how to cook . . *G*
YEah, I like food.
Nice chattin witcha, thanks to you and CE and others for the French Mystique . . .
