  • Republicans bash Roe v. Wade all the time, so Roberts can STFU.
  • Obama > Democrats in Congress > Republicans in Congress.
  • Mmmm-mmm, taste that pork.
  • Nice way for an “ally” to act, eh?
  • Always nice to see Beck get played for a fool.

So finally Beck realizes that his show isn’t worth the audience’s time and attention. Thankyou, Rep. Massa.

Mornin’, BT

We’ll send Hillary to Israel to talk to Netanyahu and tell him that it’s alright to double the number of units Israel plans to build. After all we’re such honest brokers between the evil Palestinians and the forever righteous Israelis. *spit*

and the fact that Mr. Bipartisan is more “popular” than Congress is reason to believe he would be just as comfortable working with a Republican majority in Congress after 2010.

OK, since Mika is so shocked by this I want to ask, if you are on the interstate and your Prius suddenly accelerates to 90 and you can’t get it to slow down, you’d call 911, right? I smells a rat.

Morning Joe has been on a Toyota smear campaign since the recalls started. Guilty until proven so.

edit: and I’m not defending Toyota’s actions but the news readers should wait until the facts are in until they jump to conclusions. I no longer like my prius, I’m gonna go drive it in to a wall.

Yea but this is a national news story and I just don’t buy it. The dude is whining away about “trying to control the car” as the operator says “did you try to put in in neutral?” So, you are trying to control a speeding car by making a frickin cell phone call!

If it were at all possible I’d be there in a New York heartbeat. With my mouth, though, I’d prolly end up disappeared into some IDF hellhole.

On edit: Thanks for the links. It’s the only place we’re gonna hear anything. Our elaborate media empire certainly won’t cover it.

Now there’s another Prius that’s been in a crash in NY somewhere.

I wish Joe Biden would pack up his suitcases of $, come home and make a nice speech about justice for the Palestinians and Rachel Corrie and that it would be hypocritical to focus on Iran and nukes without mentioning the threat from Israel.

First time watching Glenn Beck.He came across as more reasonable than Eric Massa, to me. I am a big Massa fan. But he seems like he is very upset right now, has done some things he isn’t proud of. Too bad, he was even on the show.

If we would all just confess to anything and everything we have ever done wrong as the Apostle Paul and Bill Wilson advocate…our reps. in DC would not have to constantly look over their shoulder and could vote for US .

Bill Clinton was impeached and lost his law license over a blow job. Bushco still are walking around free. No justice.

As an owner of a 2002 Prius I can honestly say that it barely has the gumption to get out of it’s own way. Even mashing on the gas I’d be hard pressed to hit 90 on a flat run. Put the brakes on or do something silly like turn the ignition off (which on a newer Prius is a button thingy on dash) and the thing tends to stop accelerating. As for being rational enough to make a cell phone call in a real emergency. Well sure that would be the first thing I’d think of, rather than putting the car in neutral.

Unintended acceleration in the worlds most gutless car. Sure.

Beck’s main problem is that he did not do a good interview. He got sidetracked repeatedly by Massa.

Really, it all came down to:

people get their arms twisted in Congress.
People withdraw support if you vote against something they like
Rahm likes to lobby naked.

The only interesting thing I caught was that these bozo’s spend 5 to 6 hours a day soliciting money. And, that they all have a structure dedicated to pumping out more.

How in the world can we get any good work out someone working like that? No matter what party.

I don’t like public financing as a solution because that would also encourage them to go against the public since they would have their campaign money already and don’t need any support from anyone. Yeah, you could get a guy who would vote cap and trade even though the public is not hot on it, but you could also get a guy voting to cut off funding for the arts because he doesn’t have to answer to anyone–campaign fundwise. He’s covered no matter what way he votes.

The Larry King interview was much better. Beck is a loon in orbit. He’s scared to death of Massa because Massa is for single payer. That’s all.

But, are we going to find out who these staffers and this intern is? Is it appropriate to ask them if THEY are gay? WOULD THAT MAKE THEM “SICK” or perverts, also?

Is it appropriate to ask Rahm, the ballerina, if he is gay since he likes to poke naked men while naked?

So, let’s see, one the one hand we have Pelosi, Ms. “impeachment and ethics off the table”.

We have Rahmbo, who is “willing to strap someone else’s children to a train”.

And Massa, a man who was for single payer, who will not have voted for this bill because of that, who wrestled with other men and may or may not be gay, whether that matters or not.

Sorry, I think the Dems are totally out of control at this point. Democrats don’t call gay people perverts for any reason. I don’t blame anyone for getting out.

One good thing, if you read today’s news on pushback of timelines, from the Dems, maybe he made it less likely this will be done to anyone else.

I hear they are beating an ethics drumbeat against Stupak now. Who is also for single payer, I believe. This garbage-throwing and garbage-spinning really needs to stop and people need to stop being so gullible. You could be next, as they say.
