America’s Voice has taken ads out against Representative Patrick Murphy for his support of the “Bridge Resolution” — a resolution that focuses on enforcement and provides no real answers to our immigration crisis, making it the “Bridge to Nowhere.”

Here are the first day vote tallies to determine which members of Congress become FDL Fire Dogs, and receive community fundraising and GOTV support in 2010. The contest will continue until next Tuesday, and each day at 3pm we’ll be announcing the running tally.

We do know some elements of what will be in an initial package. Some safety-net spending, like extending unemployment benefits or the COBRA subsidy, may be included as well. But nobody really knows at this point.

Google initiated the matter by approaching the NSA after the recent discovery of intrusive attacks by Chinese interests last month, which is interesting in light of the fact Google made a point of publicly stating in 2008 they had never cooperated with the NSA on the Terrorist Surveillance Program.

Let there be no doubt that Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) has his own ideas about banking reform, and they don’t match up with the Administration’s or with Paul Volcker’s.
