For several months I thought the miracle of the age was that we can buy a five-dollar submarine sandwich, but it appears I may have been mistaken.
After all, how awesome is it that “Not Joe” the “Not Plumber” dropped Sarah Palin from his calling circle…
Wurzelbacher touched on several different points during his speech, and many of them were surprising. He said he doesn’t support Sarah Palin anymore.
…while David Broder was there to add her to his, uh, prayer circle.
Those who want to stop her will need more ammunition than deriding her habit of writing on her hand. The lady is good.
We live in a time where Dick Cheney is still important enough to receive virtual “freedom tonguing” from Politico but he’s not conservative enough for the Republican Party.
(Cheney pick from here)

About Firedoglake
Sorry if this has already been dissected ad nauseum, but regarding this quote from Dean Matlock: Those who want to stop her will need more ammunition than deriding her habit of writing on her hand… my question is: “habit?” I’ve only seen it come up in this one incident. Did I miss other instances where the Queen of the Wingnuts was caught writing notes on her hand? Does Dean Matlock know something I don’t?
In your guts, you know they’re nuts.
(And if that’s an M$ Paint graphic, color me impressed.)
whut is sarah to do, she can’t afford to lose mccain, she’s nowhere withiout the teabaggers
whut is poor poor sarah to do
I didn’t do it, I thought I’d given credit — but apparently not. I’ve updated.
We live in a time when progressives enthusiastically worked to put a neocon in the White House. :O
Funny: The lady is good at what? Butchering the language, insulting anyone, a little lying, quitting a “responsible” position, not remembering O’Biden’s name….anything else? O she’s good at shopping.
Good morning, pups. It’s Monday so we’re stuck with The Pasty Little Putz, with Prof. Krugman to take the bad taste out of our mouths. The Pasty Little Putz says “Let’s Make a Deal.” The Pasty Little Putz should STFU and go away. He gurgles that there is room for real compromise on health care, if Democrats put the overall structure of the bill up for debate and Republicans offer proposals with more heft and bipartisan appeal. Fuck off, Ross. Republicans offer proposals? When pigs fly, obviously. Prof. Krugman addresses “The Making of a Euromess,” and says the real story behind Europe’s troubles lies not in the deficit but in the policy elites who pushed the Continent into adopting a single currency before it was ready.
Here they are.
The coffee, tea and hot chocolate are ready, and the biscuits are out of the oven. I’m not ready for Monday and I’m not particularly in the mood to go to work. However, since I like having a roof over my head I suppose I’ll soldier on. Have the best Monday you can — one bright spot is the Westminster Kennel Club dog show that starts tonight. That’ll keep me going!
FCS the Democrats have “compromised” away anything that was good in the damn bill already. I would hope (Hah!) that the dems go back to talk about real reform, single payer and such like, to start the televised kabuki dance Oh Bummah! has proposed. When is it Feb 27th?
At the end of his POS he actually has the gall to say:
Fucker doesn’t understand that he gave it all away by using the word “claimed.” I can claim any number of things that have no basis in truth, such as how I think The Pasty Little Putz is a great, deep thinker. However, my actions will give my claims the lie. So it is with the Republicans.
On Obama and health care reform, My youngest who worked hard for Obama says: he pissed of most of the Democratic groups: women (abortion), unions (Cadillac plans), Hispanics (illegals can die, who cares), etc. Why would they care anymore?
Putz is a great, deep thinker only according to the fanatics. He was FDR and JFK, in the end it seems that he competes with W and Carter for the last place.
Carter was the last decent person to occupy the WH. Since Catrer there has been nothing but a string of corrupt, venal, warmongering, corporatist, pigs in the oval office.
Good morning, pups. Attaturk, the linky at “freedom tonguing at Politico” is to this page. Maybe that’s a sign that I don’t want to visit Politico before breakfast…
Probably an excellent idea. There are things best done after serious infusions of caffeine…
More good news:
There
I usually avoid following Politico links, but just had to find out what the “freedom tonguing” was. Sounds a little bit off color to me. But I’m not gonna go to Politico and hunt it up. Yuk. Some things I don’t need to know about.
If Dick Cheney isn’t ‘conservative’ enough for the Republicans I’m sure Obama would welcome him as a Democrat.
Sorry, I fixed it — and I’m sorry for that too.
Swim is up…
I believe Mr Cheney loves America, he just doesn’t love many Americans.
Naw, he just loves money any way he can get it, including killing Americans. Don’t think he belongs to any country.
There are people that do not follow the Golden Rule and I detest them, don’t you?
Yet somehow America still is the greatest country on earth. Yet somehow America is still the country most desired by immigrants. Yet somehow America is the world’s sole remaining superpower… how do you explain this?
I was not aware there was a contest to be the greatest but to do our best.
Actually illegal immigration is on the decline, because of the, uh, economy here.
Superpower and $4.20 will get you a latte.
