Quadloha
You are always good, but you get really good when you post frequently, CT.
Btw, Mahalo and Aloha, ES…! *g*
Wtf is that…? ;-)
Oh good LARD I love that Polyphonic Spree Song!
Sardonic Punk! W00t!
Aloha x4!
It’s best real loud, Kelly…) (Good thing I don’t have close neighbors)
Bingo!
It could be used in four different ways in one legible sentence…! ;-)
Oh yah baby – I’m playing it loud, again!
(Belch is out the house still. So I can be rude in volume fer right now.)
Me too!
He meant Quad alohas multiple expression of love and joy!
Yo, CE!
[head bopping!]
Air guitar!
The wildlife are going…he’s hitting the bottle again while bogeying down like the wildlife in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
ES!
Hey Kelly, I really enjoyed your comments earlier. I didn’t know you were multilingual!
That was an excellent thread which I would invite everyone to read.
[Sunday morning is every day for all I care...]
Hi bb, expecting up to another foot of snow here by tomorrow night.
I may drown in hot ginger chocolate before the end of winter. ./s
Don’t pinch me, I’m dreaming.
yeaaaaah yeah
Fun for me too.
Yes I’m a funky, rude, punk, but I can be civilized at times.
[Back to head bopping]
Meester Spreengs!
Teddy the magnificent!
Well the salt truck just lumbered down a clear street, so what does that tell me? We had a really snowy Friday night and clear as a bell weekend. And for me, who has no interest in football, ” Who Dat!” I am so happy for NOLA.
Teddy!
I am so happy with your work on PropH8, can’t even tell you.
It’s been making me get back in touch with my punk ’80s side.
http://www.youtube.com/user/muse?blend=1&ob=4&rclk=cti
Yeah, it’s not London Calling, but Muse will do for a modern take with the kids, and I’m all there with it.
Hey I managed to get past halftime before I learned the names of both teams in the game. I had no idea today was game day… till afternoon. And I still have no idea what state the colts are from.
The sacrifices we make for blogging. /s
You should meet my better half who experienced 80s punk the first time around for reals.
Twas a Superb Owl indeed!
Did he live in the Haight/Mission too?
Thanks Loo Hoo! I’m a masaccio fan.
on edit:
and Kellyushka too.
SoMa in the late eighties
Well we have probably met more than once..)
I confess — I only have love for “Emma.” PBS
He’s good, for sure. There are so many really good folks here, it’s incredible.
He didn’t perchance happen to hang out with Robert X Planet? Or Lucy LaMode?
We had an ice house to store ice we cut from the lakes used sawdust in a shed worked well Make snow cones good water Throw some grain out for the small animals And enjoy the quiet of the snow fall. The reservoir must be looking pretty full where you kayak.
First heard about it this evening… which I also heard was the last episode? *sigh*
It’s changed from a clear green to a deep cold clear blue. Ernie, down at the canoe/kayak rental place, won’t rent to newcomers right now… too cold and dangerous.
Waterfalls everywhere…. the worlds cup runneth over.
Same amount expected here. Some guy rolled his SUV into a creek and managed to get out, got help from passersby on the banks. It was icy snow.
Huge tears, my love for Jonny Lee Miller knows no bounds. Since “Plunkett and MaCleane, this is the best.
I have missed all but one episode, which I loved.
I’m a contemporary culture dolt. Did check on it while at dinner (waiter, how’s the game going?) and news wasn’t good. So it was super thrilling to later get the news here.
Oh, the best Emma, ever.
I was in town for yoga and had to park on a meter in the street where two homeless men were sitting on a bus bench across the street. It was dark an inclement. I was in a hurry to make the class before they closed the doors when another homeless man engaged me for spare change. As I left, he with his long armsand large cape went to one of the men with a warm greeting and a hug. Not much where with all but giving still. That expression of compassion seemed very generous. Touchdowns not so much.
ES – check this guy out…

Wow… well said. A cape too.
Nice.
That’s powerful. Should be in a movie soundtrack.
I think I know of a screenplay it could fit in perfectly. hmmm
Nite all. 40s and clear tomorrow. Going to get out and do stuff.
Enjoy Sunny
Ta Sunny!
The kittehs at the Puppy Bowl half-time show look like they are all on E.
Yanno, there’s a little bit else that’s a wee bit punk.
Opera. Including this aria:
SCUM! Where the fuck are you going?
Turn it up, loud….
May I translate it, via wiki?
Abscheulicher! Wo eilst du hin? SCUM! Where are you going?
Was hast du vor in wildem Grimme? What will you do in wild anger?
Des Mitleids Ruf, The call of sympathy,
der Menschheit Stimme, the voice of humanity,
Rhrt nichts mehr deinen Tigersinn? Moves nothing in your tiger’s will?
Doch toben auch wie Meereswogen But like turbulent seas rage
Dir in der Seele Zorn und Wut, Anger and hatred in your soul,
So leuchtet mir ein Farbenbogen, So appears to me a rainbow,
Der hell auf dunklen Wolken ruht: That bright on dark clouds sits:
Der blickt so still, That watches so quiet,
so friedlich nieder, so peaceful,
Der spiegelt alte Zeiten wieder, That mirrors old times,
Und neu besnftigt wallt mein Blut. And new appeased my blood flows.
Komm, Hoffnung, lass den letzten Stern Come, hope, let the last star
Der Moden nicht erbleichen! From fatigue not fade!
Erhell mein Ziel, sei’s noch so fern, Illuminate my goal, even if it’s far,
Die Liebe wird’s erreichen. Love will reach it.
Ich folg’ dem innern Triebe, I follow an inner drive,
Ich wanke nicht, I will not waver,
Mich st?rkt die Pflicht My duty strengthens me
Der treuen Gattenliebe! (My duty) of true marital love
O du, f?r den ich alles trug, O you, for whom I bore everything,
K?nnt’ ich zur Stelle dringen, If only I could be at your side,
Wo Bosheit dich in Fesseln schlug, Where evil has you bound,
Und s?ssen Trost dir bringen! And bring you sweet comfort!
Ich folg’ dem innern Triebe, I follow an inner drive,
Ich wanke nicht, I will not waver,
Mich st?rkt die Pflicht My duty strengthens me
Der treuen Gattenliebe! (My duty) of true marital love.
Abscheulicher! Wo eilst du hin?
LOL I do prefer scum wtf are you going?
Oh well…my operaschizz didn’t work so good.
Please ignore as you will, but yanno, this is original punk.
NOLA needs a lot more than a Super Bowl win.
!. The offshore wetlands need to be repaired to stop storm surges and flooding.
2. Buttresses on lake P need safer structuring
3. Housing needs to be replaced that will accomodate the past tenants who can no longer afford to live there
4. Schools Hospitals and public services need funding.
FEMA did not do the job under Bush or Obama. That speaks volumes for the rest of us when shit happens like earthquake, flood and fire and other massive disasters that will come with climate change and resistant pathogens
Sorry, stuck on Punk Opera for a minute – Just a thought;
Here’s what it’s like when people become free from unwarranted wiretaps, and illegal caging, death warrants, and stuff like that.

I find this music so exhilarating!
Nighters, Sunny. Enjoy your tomorrow.
I’m out as well..
Good night fabulous firedogs.
Night, ES. Thanks again.
Dang, everybody always leaving just as I’m getting here. It’s not “Late Late Night” for me, it’s “Early Early Morning” and I can’t ever sleep past 3AM EST…
I’m still here…about to watch George Carlins take on baseball vs. football. Should be good, mgloraine.
It’s a good bit, I can almost play it back in my head (having heard it a few times). Thanks for responding. I’ve gotten used to just talking to myself and cursing at the people dominating the headlines. I can still remember being a starry-eyed flower child. How did I get to be such a bitter old man?
Never mind. I think I need some herbal remedy…
Specter gets the nod in Pennsylvania. Okay with me Sestak made me wince whenever I heard him speak.
I’ll agree that there’s only one true remedy!!!
I’m still thinking about getting a VW Van and painting flowers on the sides!
Yeah, I feel more like being an out-and-proud lunatic-fringe hippie socialist radical pinko than ever before. Unfortunately, there are bills to pay and mundane concerns which put a lead weight on any of that old freewheeling mindset. Besides, if I were to let my hair grow today, it looks more like a Ben Franklin or Leonardo Da Vinci kind of look, and less like the George Harrison of old.
Getting old really sucks, but I guess it beats the alternative.
How old are you? I’m 57 and nothing about it sucks. It’s FREEDOM! Except I know what you mean…the bills get paid first, and kinda stifles the fun.
I’m 53. I guess it feels older than that because of failing health, dwindling resources, etc. I can’t see any hope of retirement, but no prospects for gainful employment either. Future looks grim from where I’m sitting.
So sorry. No hope of retirement and failing health would be bummer.
Have you been paying into social security?
FYI for the space nerds. It was a good launch this am. They’re now in orbit.
I worked non-stop and on-the-record for 30 years. Then my job went to India. Nothing against India or the Indians, they were just looking for work like everyone else. But I am resentful of my fat-cat former employer for giving 80% of the American staff the boot so as to increase executive bonuses, etc. Capitalist pigs!
I also get resentful of those in Congress who propose to wipe out Social Security and Medicare, those pesky socialist “entitlements” for which payment was duly extracted from every paycheck I ever got. I don’t expect I’ll ever see any of that, because it will be spirited away to the offshore accounts of the Billionaires’ Club, like the rest of the nation’s former wealth.
Anyway, I guess I’ll sign off rather than continuing to spew self-pity and angst.
Thanks for talking back, Loo Hoo.
Well, as long as you have SS and medicare, you’ll manage if not thrive. Trick is, though, that you may have to retire in another country as millions of Americans do. It’s all good.
