  • What Reid said is awful, but he’s no Trent Lott.
  • Trouble at home?
  • Banks: Reid should not step down.
  • It’s gossipy and shallow, but at least we’re not talking about Undiebomber.
  • But…but…the Democrats want to turn us into Europe.
  • Terra, terra, terra.

The gentlenam from South Carolina says

I intend to introduce legislation that will enhance our national security through common sense changes to our current immigration laws.

Get the boxcars ready.

cheney done went and got his bad self in trouble with the base;

Upon finding out that McCain had tapped Palin as his running mate, Vice President Dick Cheney called it a “reckless choice,” believing the Alaska governor was unprepared for high office.

let’s give this story legs

good luck with that…the msm has dictated that it’ll be Reid gaffe alla time.

Anybody heard any coverage of the upcoming Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission hearings?

How about those states on ineffectual military tribunals attaturk talks about?

Nope. Me, neither.

Where the hell is the outrage from the Jewish community to Barrett’s proposal? Selective memory loss?

My guess is that they’re cheering it. My observation of what Jews learned from the holocaust is that you gotta do it to them first.

Do the Jews not remember that there were many non-Jews who risked their lives to protect Jewish families during the Resistance?

My observation comes from the behavior of Israel toward the Palestinians, slomo genocide. And that several U.S. Jews have cut me off because I’m critical of Israel. I still have many Jewish friends who are not besotted by Israel, and there was a holocaust survivor who just went on a hunger strike over Israel’s treatment of Gazans. So, as usual with human behavior, it’s a mixed picture. But as long as Israel is a shining representative of Jews, it’s easy to think they learned the wrong lesson from the holocaust.

Do we need to start building hidden shelters in our homes to protect our neighbors, should they fall on the next list of “undesireables?”

Certainly not expecting the Israeli lobby to condemn Barrett. However, there should be SOME in the Jewish community with a trace of humanity left.

As USG is in Israel’s pocket, I wouldn’t expect too much public display against the legislation. It won’t pass, but I’ll be surprised if there’s any outrage against it.

Thanks..that is such a gentle, positive thread.

I was going to mention about giving pills as well. Angela’s need to be 1/4. But those I cannot get down her; they are so small. The 1/2 she has to swallow..but she will pocket/spit the 1/4. I still need to try the “pill pillow.”

Mornin’, eCAHN. I got a little more info from Teddy last night. Don’t have a clock time, but today. Teddy will be live blogging from SF, and David will be blogging from a remote court in Pasadena. Marcy is coming to Cali later in the week, which tells me Something about the schedule. The trial is expected to last 2 weeks. If you want, I’ll go back to late night and get the link regarding the trial.

Righto. I have a few things I’ve got to do this am, like take my car to the stupid auto body shop (someone plowed into me at the grocery store parking lot) and house stuff before I work at 3. But, since I’m only about 20 minutes from the courthouse in Pasadena, I thought I’d take the camera and head over there. I’m wondering if there will be any protesters, from either side. Also, maybe take David a cup of coffee or something.

Democrats would be up in arms had a Republican had said what Reid said. This story would be all over CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, etc.. had a Republican said what Reid had said. This story is barely getting covered in the mainstream… Once again the mainstream media is running interference for Democrats.

This is a perfect example of “the ends justify the means”, which is the Democrats slogan. It is alright to ignore what Reid said because he helps to advance the democrats cause.

You dimwits out there will read this and try to defend Reid or type some other irrelevant mumbo jumbo but the truth is you have no defense… period!

frederic. Nice to see somebody here besides the choir. Good morning. But of course you are wrong. Reid simply stated the truth within a political context. A light-skinned colored guy who talks like a white guy is more electable in this country. Plain and simple. Tell you what: Google Republican Sex Offenses. Amazing. See what the media is really covering up.
