Please recall that Shrub was dragged kicking and screaming into creating the Department of Homeland Security in the first place, and then mostly used it to terrify the U.S. so that well-connected companies could loot the treasurery and the GOP could use ‘terror’ as a big stick to club their way into office. With Republicans, it’s never really about national security. It’s always about how they can grasp more power and transfer tax money to them and their friends.

There is a big difference between Maddow and Beck . Maddow bases her reporting and commentary on facts not lies and innuendo . She is always well prepared and relies on fact to make her arguments.
Beck, on the other hand wouldn’t know fact , if it jumped up, and bit him on the face.
Beck is more about stirring reaction among his listeners and will use any means to do that including bald faced lies

It seems the Rove divorce points out the problems of bright lights.
