It got me (and LOTS of others judging from the posts I read later) to respond too. I have no illusions as to it’s effectiveness (lol, I checked the Please Respond box and still haven’t got anything back) but I’ll be damned if I didn’t feel inspired to respond too.

Pan on hot heat hit with white wine, capers, lemon juice, and sweet butter.

Veal returned to pan, and tossed as sauce reduces.

Plate with pasta and veggie, and add some some fresh topped Italian Parsley, and pour sauce over veal.

I was being a dick a couple weeks ago on a thread where I was saying “You’re all gay now” as regards the leadership betrayal of the Dems.

What I meant really is this:

I’ve been out 30 years now, and it’s been quite a trip, watching the progress. It’s really mostly come incrementally, by gay people being brave, living out loud, and demanding their/our rights, and not taking shit for that; and hardly at all by elected folk. They’ve just been around when a specific piece of “progress” has become ripe in whatever community.

The slate of progressive values is going to work the same way. It’s going to take a ton of time, and a lot of voices, and a bunch of people, well, just living progressively and proud about it.

As long as “liberal” and “progressive” are cuss words, well, you know there’s a bunch of work, and years yet ahead.

And there are years of work ahead.

Well, best of luck. Airlines right now would be rough, I suspect. Fares are so low, I don’t know how they could cut back further. Too bad we don’t have the money to explore the earth! All’s been *ucked with!
