Oh lordy, she’s not just working Costcos and gun shows anymore:
ARLINGTON, TX–(Marketwire – December 2, 2009) – The Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA), the bowling industry’s leading trade association, announced today that the bowling industry rolled a strike, securing Sarah Palin as the keynote speaker at this summer’s International Bowl Expo 2010. “Sarah Palin is a great friend to the bowling industry and we’re so proud and honored to welcome her as our keynote speaker at International Bowl Expo 2010,” said Steven Johnson, executive director of the BPAA.

No!!! Really?
they must be in rhapsody, which may well proceed rapture
do have a look at that tube, you won’t be disappointed, especially the last line sung…will remind you of Palin to a t
Makes sense to me, she’s at home in the gutter.
if she goes to a dance, will that be a gutter ball?
hey, wait a minute!
I think I am on to something for me and my pals;
“the first anual gutter ball”
this is gonna be fun!
off to the gym, see all later
Morning anybody. Thinking about Sarah Palin at this early hour sends chills up my spine – that plus the -2 degree thermometer reading.
Get her out of the streets and into the alleys!
New Jersey is about family, friends, tanning and gel.
from the new MTV reality show!
I thought it was about taxes.
I don’t really understand how she’s a great friend to bowling. Did she spend a fortnight gunning down the zombie moose that threatened to rampaged through Six Lanes Over Wasilla? Did she once use a bowling ball to bludgeon a Russian on suspicion that he had once looked askance at Alaska? How exactly is this hillbilly grifter a great friend to bowling?
can she fit a bowling ball in her mouth?
” How exactly is this hillbilly grifter a great friend to bowling?”
The check cleared ,that’s all it took !
” How exactly is this hillbilly grifter a great friend to bowling?”
She can see the bowling alley from her house ?
Good morning. I’m not up to bowling puns this early.
Is it cold there too?
I think you now owe hillbillys and grifters an apology for putting her in those catagories. *g*
Good morning all and thanks for the chuckle, Attaturk.
Snow predicted for central Texas today.
I saw on the weather that snow is expected in Houston.
A tad warmer than seasonal. 41 now, going to high 40s during the day. Beautiful sunshiney. Moon, not quite full, was high in the sky and gorgeous at 6a. I might go out today for the first time since I came down with my cold.
Snow predicted in Houston?
Well, I guess we all know the pending Matt Drudge headline about Global Warming.
Good morning, pups. It’s Bobo and Krugman today. In “The Analytic Mode” Bobo says we should embrace the analytical governing style of President Obama, and learn to live without the passion and clarity of his presidential campaign. Prof. Krugman, in “Reform or Else,” says those concerned with fiscal responsibility should be worried about what will happen if proposed health care legislation doesn’t pass.
Here they are.
The cofee, tea and hot chocolate are ready, and I’ve got cranberry walnut muffins this morning. It will be fun to watch the Bowl-a-Rama people fizz and dither when La Palin cancels at the last minute. (The odds favor it, don’t you think?) Have a great Friday.
Sarah’s a friend of bowling because she approves of all athletic endeavors that are associated with drinking beer and smoking cigarettes while you engage in the activity.
Snowed here Tuesday and yesterday. Did not get beyond single didgets yesterday. Nearly full moon is gorgeous but burr.
-2 … I don’t even want to think of that…33 here and clear
Snow coming Saturday and I still don’t have my snow tires on
Brrr is right. Got a fireplace to read a book by?
Foothills you must really live in the “hills” to be feeling the cold like that . What’s the elevation where you are ?
So now it is the “passion” of his campaign. Used to be “no drama Obama” Is there some kind of memory scrambler that these clowns are hooked up to?
He’s confusing the fans with the star.
A new category is sports ?
Those that can be played while clenching a cigarette between ones lips
Can’t pull a chair up to it without serious furniture rearrangement.
Well, as long as you’re in the same room with it.
Just under 6000 feet.
We’d call those mountains here! Tallest peak here in Mass is less than 4000 feet.
I live at 400 ft one of the lowest areas around , some mornings the cold settles into the valley and it can get real cold -14 the coldest so far
What’s the difference between a Cadillac and a golf ball?
Tiger can drive a golf ball 400 yards.
They must be paying her a hefty fee.
Bet he can’t do it while someone is hitting him with a 3 iron …ouch !
lol
Good point.
Does Sarah own any other clothes besides that red jacket thing and black skirt ?
Other than her bib overalls of course
Nope. Those mean Republicans took them all away after the campaign… [sniff]
Good morning, pups. Cold here in NW Indiana, too, but not -2…+22. Flurries predicted. I am dreading my first winter in 30+ years driving an automatic instead of stick shift in the snow, and we get a LOT of snow.
No all wheel drive?
I wonder if anyone will ask her what kind of balls she throws and if she does candlepin, duck pin, or big pin bowling?
Nope, a PT Cruiser. My first one (ca. 2001) was a stick, it finally needed more repair $$ than it was worth so I found a used 2007, great car (and they’ve added features since 2001) but an automatic. It is really difficult to find a manual transmission car.
So an old dog will have to learn new tricks? *g*
She’d probably say she does candlestick bowling
My experience with all wheel drive is that they are fine for getting going but if you start to slide you are SOL.
58 and overcast in The City Beautiful. Yuk.
LOL. Yeah. Fortunately it is pretty flat here. But I am so accustomed to dealing with snowy roads with shifting rather than braking that this old dog will have to learn well — and quickly.
I’ve never driven an AWD car.
I’ve had both auto and stick ,and we get alot of snow too!
I can’t say I’d favor one over the other though , they each have their advantages .
Decent snow tires and front wheel drive stick or auto you should have no problems
In her defense, the GOP isn’t buying her clothes anymore…and Ann Coulter has completely claimed the encrusted black cocktail dress look.
You can down shift an automatic. I do it frequently especially when going downhill. But then anything but flat here.
You can downshift an auto to slow just like a stick and it’s just as effective.
Good luck !!!
Front wheel drive, but no snow tires. That is something else I’ve never had. I may have to think about it this year. Fortunately they maintain the roads pretty well when it snows. Sometimes I’ve had more trouble getting up my short but sloped driveway than getting around elsewhere. And I am less than 10 minutes from work.
Maybe I’m just dreading winter, and putting my bicycle away and getting out the snow scraper and my boots. Blergh.
Hmmm. Yes, I guess of course you can. I will have to remember that!
Off to work. See y’all at Swim in a bit.
My FIL used to keep a bucket full of sand and small shovel at the end of his driveway.
Just a thought !
Off to work I go
I hope everyone has a great day !
What sort of sponsorhip deal did Todd get? And will the bowling folks be buying her a wardrobe prior to the appearance? What will she and Todd tell the IRS?
