Looks like even the Palinites are getting sick of the ‘Cuda this week. Amidst the BOOOOS one can hear “QUITTIN’ ON THE JOB!”
Stopped clocks, as they say.
Meanwhile, the ‘Cuda’s beloved Facebook page is getting bombarded with angry posts like this.
My family (wife, 3year old, and 10 year old) and I waited for 6 hours to get a book signed by Sarah Palin tonight. She left 300 folks standing in the rain and cold without explanation or even an address at exit. That is 1800 hours of voters lives sacrificed for nothing due to lack of concern by another politician for… our time, money and effort to see a cause through. She could have invested 45 minutes and not received the boos, or sign my book chants. I know that the majority of the folks that were chanting go Palin now are returning her books tomorrow morning. What a disappointment.
If this is the way the ‘Cuda manages a small-market bus tour, just think of what she’ll do for the country.

I’d like to say one thing to the person quoted above, the one who waited in the rain: You’re entitled to nothing. There’s a reason I don’t go to book signings or meet and greets — they are useless exercises in celebrity fandom and frustration. My time is better spent doing anything else. This person is both stupid and a whiner.

I said last week, after all the wringing of hands, that I wasn’t worried about This Woman having any chance of being President.
And, this is the answer to the question, Who T F follows her. She has dissed so many in her past and they have learned. Now, the answer to who supports her will become clear.
Perhaps an education and awareness program for the uninformed would do a lot more than talking to them. Talking to them assumes they have some reasonable degree of engagement. This is a questionable assumption in these times. If we could go back to what they used in the second war, cartoons. The characters are known, there is comfort in the fat chicken or the rubber duck. They know that Bugs isn’t going to tell them wrong! Then an explanation of why they deserve to get the benefits of a rich state may become more acceptable. “It’s what you fought for!” “You paid for it, why not use it?” They might question why they listen to people that want to kill them, and tell them so. There is no politician as well known or as comforting to them than their favorite cartoon character.
Any chance Sarah’s bus being late and the Booer being a GOP plant? Kind of like how Joe the Plumber magically appeared to meet Obama? The facebook campaign of complaints on Sarah’s site could be GOP trolls retasked by Karl to go after Sarah.
The Corporate Wing of the GOP might finally be striking back. If Fox news carries this story then the Word has been given.

I guess the problem with encouraging people to shout at town hall meetings is that they just keep shouting.
They wanted to reduce political discourse to shouting at each other. Now they’re getting what they wished for.
To live in interesting times is a Chinese curse. However Bush has already made things quite interesting. I agree the Corporate Dems are well Republicans but Sarah while a clear target for us as president there is no doubt what side she is on unlike the Corporate Dems who hide behind the Dem label.
Well Sarah as President would have us all in camps. With luck though the FDL Prison Wing would be a great chance for us all to meet.
I disagree – Abhorrent as their politics may be, they deserve courtesy from the self-appointed leader of their movement. The fact that she doesn’t even recognize that these people comprise her base and that they hold her political future in their hands makes me wonder how crazy she really is.

It was rainy both Wednesday and part of yesterday in Noblesville (and up here in the far northwest (South Bend).
Having been a kid in growing up in that kind of weather let me assure you they did between food, bathroom breaks, the cold and missing their favorite tv shows trust me those parents suffered.
Can’t wait for the sequel about how everything that went wrong on her first book tour weren’t her fault.

It’s not Sarah’s fault that she left the rally early. She got an emergency call that Katie Couric’s confidence and self esteem was wavering. When she heard that, she decided to drop everything, jump on a plane (after jumping on the bus) and run to her sister Katie’s side. As much as it pained Sarah to abandon her fans like that, the bond of sisterhood shared with Couric is just too strong to ignore.

She sounds great and can certainly give a good speech. But she has no substance. Maybe she thought it was smart to quit her job as Gov. early, but what is she doing? Is she immersing herself in economics, policy, politics, global politics? All those things that everybody knows She does not know?
No, she is enriching herself. She promised the people of Alaska she would work for them and has done nothing since she quit. She has done fluff interviews and talks through Face Book, were she can have somebody else do the writing and she can take credit. And best of all, she never, ever has to answer questions.
Her book has documented lies. No bother, she will blame the media for picking on her,never to have to explain the lies.
She will be the eternal victim, blaming everybody but herself.
And if it gets too tough? Well, she can always quit… again.
I think it’s about even odds that she suspends the rest of the book tour the day after Thanksgiving. If you check some of the video at the Alaska blogs, the saddest part is the way she bounds off the bus with little Trig for the photo op and then passes him off to an aid like a sack of potatoes. And the aid holds him more gently than she does. The Alaska bloggers were criticizing that Trig never seems to have his glasses or hearing aids, and loe and behold, today in Cinci, Trig has his glasses on! Anyone who is so easily tweeked by bloggers and trades barbs with a 19 year old is not fit to be President of the PTA.
I swear! People who stand in long lines to SEE Sarah — and have her sign the book — should immediately be put in a mental hospital. And young kids —!!!! Call Child Protective Services.

Compare it to the Dems. We have our own ideas and are reasonably happy with Obama and give him enough leeway to do stuff without criticism. We don’t threaten him or boo him if he doesn’t toe our line sufficiently. Well, maybe a little.

Anyone who would waste any of their time, and subject their small children to get a book signed by this self centered fraud of a president wannabe deserves to be left out in the rain. Her books, signed or unsigned will soon be about as valuable as a Yugo. What a coincidence she now say, in response to her Katie Couric interview she read Newsmax, who is giving her books away. What a fake. Shame on Mccain for bringing her out of her snow covered cave. To think he thought she was qualified to be President makes you wonder about his sanity, that’s assuming when you select a running you are aware if something happens to you, this person you selected is now President.
