OMG! Think I’d heard about the English business but didn’t know about the community college……..I can just picture the faculty (or at least some of them) dancing down the hallways when she left.

My fifteen year old son is at the age where he doesn’t wanna even acknowledge penis/sex/girls to his mom. When he’s watching tv at night with me, he just gets up and leaves the room, shaking his head.

But we will be *more* than happy to send her to VA….on a rail would be my preferred method of transportation.

She reminds me of a cartoon I saw decades ago. It had a profile of a crabby looking, elderly teacher who looked very much like Foxx. The caption was something like: “Today we will discuss the sperm cell, the egg, fertilization of the egg, and other such filthy, disgusting things.”

One more comment about those commercials, I promise. The ads say if you have a HO for 4 hours to call your docter. Um, and at 2:00 in the morning, or whenever, what’s the doctor going to do? Come on over and help you out? And, those side affects? Right. If your tongue swells up and turns black and you stop breathing, call your doctor.

I think the ED drugs DO have legitimate uses, such as helping men who have had prostatectomy resume sex lives. I don’t know for sure that ALL such surgeries have that side effect, but I know it is true for some, along with incontinence. So I certainly don’t begrudge men with real need for that help (and their wives/partners) access to it. But the TV ads are unnecessary and offensive. JMHO.

When I was in 6th grade, we had a teacher (not a cartoon) about that age…it was her job to separate the boys away from the girls, so she could explain that monthly thing. I’m laughing thinking about it. She was alovely kind person, and I suspect she would have rather been dead than have the job of that explanation.

These days I guess some of the girls are pregnant by then.

Morning Bev. When I got That Education, they herded all the girls into the auditorium and showed us animated lesson about teh sex. I remember being horrified.

The 1st district was gerrymandered by Karl Rove for Gohmert by adding
Tyler to the old 1st district that remained Democratic. The Tyler move
brought the south Tyler Green Acres Baptist, Texas A&M, oil and gas, medical elites into the equation transforming the district into an 80+
district for Gohmert. The television stations are all based in Tyler as
are the local talk radio jocks that mimic their better known national
models by being more outrageous. That style has taken over local television
coverage of national events, a trick they all learned from Rove/Bush.
Bottom line, Gohmert is popular here. The wilder he gets the more positive
his local press gets, it is a perfect do-loop… welcome to Alabama.

Ya really want to see one that’s out there?
