DELBERT AND LEE ROY!
thatguy
Fireflies and dreams…..yes! I’m so disgusted with the crappola that is current American politics that I’m ready for some easssssy time. Indeed.
Hey there Mr ES!
Thackery too!
Hi all.. hi Teddy..)
Have to find a happy medium, Dearie.
Like Costa Rica or Panama? My brother is getting his passport through his wife for Colombia. He says he might/maybe hire me as a live in cook. Gotta laugh. Where did my country go????
About to sit down to a late dinner, but I’ll be back.
Well I keep hoping I will someday be Sunny’s Italian gardener..)
We are in one dill pickle indeed. I’m not about to quit fighting, but I don’t think it’s coming back.
Yeah, I know. Several years ago I talked about an Italian villa….and many firepups were interested — and that was in the good times when we were just merely pissed at the Bushites. Now it’s really about real money. Those of us who played by the rules, delayed gratification, etc. etc. are seeing all we planned for being trashed. It is not pleasant…..and I am not a happy camper.
buona sera
Que sera sera.
I thought your ears might be burning right about now..)
Okay… photo alert
Miss Louiza kitty
And one from Venezia.
si :-)
(((louiza)))
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
ES!
Dearie, I saw a pretty nice PBS thing on Colombia. Lots of military presence on the streets, but it looked beautiful.
Louiza pic is a bit dark, though I still like it.. I don’t remember taking it. Happened to be in my cam when I emptied all photos a couple of days ago. Took the Venezia pic while there in ‘04.
Hi Margot. I hear Columbia is rather safe these days.. It’s moving up my list of must see SA countries.
I have to whisper this, but orange kittys are the best….
Orange kitties are the BEST!!!!
I lightened her up a bit. She’s really orange now. My first orange kitty.
Yes, they said it was quite safe because of the military presence.
Do you pronouce Louiza Loweezy? That’s how a lady here says the name of her hometown in Kentucky.
My singular tuxedo just picked up your vibe (evidently), hopped up on my lap and shook his head side-to-side while flashing a wry smile.
If that means anything.
Black kitties are excellent too. Very smart. Yes they are :-)
Lou-eye-za. best pronounced with a slow lazy southern drawl.
My fellow has very big teeth and he’s in charge..
Awww, she’s a pretty little girl, isn’t she?
Well this sounds like a novel in the making (or worse).
Report: Missing Iran general abducted by Mossad, being held in Israel

My first rescue from the pound kitty. She’s really coming along well. Not afraid.. no longer crying out loud for no reason. All the missing hair on her ears and head has grown back in.
She’s queen of the mountain now.
I like that in cats and in some people. Actually I like the personalities of orange cats, too. When I was thinking of getting another I was imagining another black and white or an orange tiger. Of course, I wouldn’t know until I met them at the shelter anyway.
Margot, thought of you this afternoon. Splurged on some green tea called Green Monkey King. Chinese. Unlike anything I’ve tasted.
Long skinny leaves, kinda stalky and pungent. Smells like fabulous chicken soup and tastes like butter. Tea guy thinks I’m wrong (nutz) about the smell, but agrees about the butter.
Well, she was the right one, for sure. The rescues are very special.
I stretched out the fabulous mango tea as long as i could. Does your tea shop have a web site?
Never had a pound kitty – mine find and rescue me.

Interesting you should ask. I went by to tell him his site had been quarantined by Google. Seems someone broke into his business server and commenced spamming. I’ll send you a link when all is well.
That mango stuff is grand. Powerful.
Yes it is.. and perhaps the sweetest tea I’ve ever had (without adding anything).
White patent boots. OK!!!
Got kitty pix?
On this rainy foggy night it’s time for me to turn in.
Good night firedogs.
G’nite ES.
Sweet dreams eureka.
Well, I only have them in e-mails and seem to have a mental block about how to actually have them appear in a post here. People say just put them on flickr, but I’m not savvy in matters of computers and have failed before.
Long answer for a 3-word question, huh?
No help here. Finally mastered the mechanics of taking pix with my cell, they’re generally 80% thumb.
Dunno, but suspect one cannot embed pix in comments, just links to pix. Flikr is way above my pay grade.
Mine too. My mind works in other ways. I tried to send pix of Spence and my new deck to a friend’s e-mail. They got there on about the 9th try. *G*
Not much better on phones.
A third grade girl repaired my phone settings for me Friday… and was tactful about it. Might have been less painful if she’d snickered.
Say more about your new deck.
Time for sleep. G’nite Sunny.
nite emerson
I had a small Redwood Deck I put in 20 years ago. This is much more colorful brick in a handsome repeated pattern, but not symmetrical. I really like it. I’ll post it here some day. It is about 18′ x 13′ and it cost $2500-only because of the down economy. It’s normally closer to $3500, so this was the time to do it-assuming my house ever recovers the value lost in the last 18 months.
G’nite Sunny. poof.
