Heard on NPR that Michael Steele is directing that the RNC health insurance plan dump the provision providing insurance for abortion saying he doesn’t know how it got into the policy. Fine for me, not for thee. That’s how.

Fox and Friends just reported that Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman, the man who “captured the nation’s imagination” with his campaign in the special Congressional election for NY-23, may yet be found to have been the actual victor in the election.

They just said that in the count, he’s 3,000 votes behind Owens and that there are still about 10,000 absentee ballots to count.

What will Palin be saying if the final count shows that he actually won?

And, if the final count shows that Hoffman actually won, wouldn’t that just be a sad thought on so many levels?

Nevertheless, Beck and Palin and other crazies will loudly and often declare victory if the final vote count turns out to be an electoral victory for Hoffman.

They had to wait to count the ballots…at least until the ink dried:)

But if Hoffman is certified as the winner, in all likelihood he would be allowed to take the seat.

The rope has a noose on both ends, one for the Republicans and one for Democrats.

It took until now to fill in enough absentee ballots to look genuine. (Paper balloting is harder to fudge than electronic balloting)
