Why stop at the 19th? Seems to me that if you really want to get health care reform, we have seriously to think about repealing the 13th and the 14th. Not too high a price to pay if you’re not black, after all.

I guess I should add that it was Lincoln’s party that in 1876 sold out the ex-slaves for the Presidency in a contested election. Stupak is just more of the same.

These C Streeters actually live by the precept that white men are next god, and then women and minorities are “under” white men (eg, next in line). Not sure if white women come before minority men or vice versa. But seriously and honestly, that is what they believe, and they are sticking to that.

That is a big part of the motivating factor both for Stupie-boys nasty little amendment, as well as for how C Streeters act, behave, legislate, do bidness and all the rest of it.

They are sexist Talibanistas, and they definitely want to keep women “in their place.” Never, ever think otherwise.

Call up Stupak’s office today early, often and late. Give ‘em hell. Don’t care about his staff at this point.
