My favorite bit of cognitive dissonance recently was the much-seen photograph of the sign of a decidedly unflattering portrait of Nancy Pelosi surrounded by the words “UNAMERICAN MCCARTHYIST”… didn’t Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin recently set us straight, that McCarthy was an American hero who has been misjudged by “liberal history”?

So apparently, right-wing pro-tribal bigotry and the Republican double-standard is so omnipervasive that the *kind* of McCarthyist you are determines whether you’re the Good McCarthyist or a Bad McCarthyist.

If you demonize your opponents, and accuse them of wanting to destroy America, you’re a Good McCarthyist.

If you try to provide healthcare for people who aren’t the preferred customers of the health insurance cabal, you’re a Bad McCarthyist.

Thanks, peep-pups. My husband took a hard drive out of an old laptop, copied, loaded saved a bunch of stuff. See how techie I am? This morning my son said wow, he must really love you. I said yes and he probably didn’t want to hear me whine, cry, bitch and moan. He probably figured he was saving his sanity by just getting it done and over with. Ha!
I thanked him profusely. Called him the Miracle Man, A Genius and some other superlatives.

Thanks, again. You had given me the link the other day. Now, I’s going to look up the 1-800 numbers for them. My experience in the past with calling and speaking to staff members has been some what frustrating. They usually can’t even tell me how their person is going to vote, let alone explain to me why some one would vote for the stupid amendment and then not vote for the bill. But, I’ve got some time today and will make some calls.
