Easy big fella, that post you responded to was total snark.

Notice the name there and the name that's attached to the top post?

They were just repeating right wing talking points back and forth.

Welcome to the Lake. I think you'll like it. And lots of good vets here too. I'm one myself (US Army).

On Palin. You have to look on the bright side here. 65 percent of Germans in the election of 1932 didn't think Hitler was ready for the Chancellorship either.

I am a REAL AMERICAN, served my country for 25 years, how many did you? Palin wouldn't make a pimple on a President's Ass, every George Bush, the worst President in over a 150 years, because he allowed Rowe, Chenney, Rumsfeld and Rice run and ruin the country. Go ahead a say it you are a racists and cannot stand the fact we have a Black President now, who is trying to clean up 8 years of no government at all. Chenney ordered Bush to start the was in Iraq and regardless of who won this past election cannot clean it up in 9 months, especially when you have the Party of No against everything you are trying to get done to turn around the work force, insurance for the un-insured, rebuild the inferstructure of American and no
joe (I am a Democrat, no an Independant, no a Repubilican) coming out and just saying I will block the Public Option to stop it, even it has been shown that the Public Option will not cost the Americans anything. You are a real american, the kind we can do without!!

One Republican "Dope Head" thinks she would make a good President. The Obese, Dr Shopping, Cigar Smoking Russ Limbaugh. But he is stoned 2/3's of the time so does his opinion count count anyway? What is it that Levi Johnson know on Palin that he said he knew things on her that could really, really hurt her now if he told what she did while Governor? He said this on the Early Show on on 28 Oct 2009!! Why hasn't some investigative reporter jumped on this and found out what it is? He rode back and forth with her from Moose Droppings, AK., to the Captiol everyday and said she would say at the end of the day that she had to go home and see her retarded baby (GEE, WHAT A MOTHER!!!. He went on to say that Bristol raised her brother, just like a mother and Palin only show interest in the baby after she became VP nominee and did it for publicity stunt only.

Found this statement pretty much dead on as a comment to Kucinich's disgust with his own Party:

"The Democrats will betray us, just as they always do.
But they will put on a theatrical display of pretending they really tried hard to give us the health care that the rest of the civilized world takes for granted.

The Republicans will betray us, just as they always do.
But they will be blunt and direct in telling us that they favor big companies and don't really give a fcuk about regular people.

Dennis and the Republicans are honest about their priorities. Democrats are liars."

These people will still have to buy health insurance even if it is a "public Option" or "competative Option" what ever miss pelosie thinks calling it today will help her. She already said that it will not add to the deficit and will just be a large pool of people who split the costs of all their collective care. no subsidy of course Lieberman doesn't believe that and think the government could turn to the American Worker to fund the overruns from this plan. But really think about it a whole bunch of people who have not had insurance for a while and people with pre-existing conditions all join this large pool of people to "keep costs down". So the people who havn't had insurance will prolly use it right away and the pre-existing people, many will use more frequently than most. I really don't think this could be a cheap option for any person rich or especially poor because of what the most likely insurance pool will be filled with. Think about it!!!! This isn't a free health care proposal it will cost a lot. People need to understand what the actually costs of healthcare are and work on the real problem instead of listening and fighting about pointless bs

Cutting upper tax rates from the 90s to the 70s is not the same thing as cutting taxes from the 30s to the 20s.

Like the liberal John F Kennedy??? Yes he was liberal but also cut taxes and to boot inspired a nation. Is he the core of the democratic party because that is much further to the center-right than the Democratic party has moved in the last 20 years even

you don't see a difference between conservative values and the Republican party??? Really why do you think those numbers are the way they are. The "teabaggers" mentioned in the article are not dems or Repubs they just ask for accountability.

I dunno. Much as it makes me smile to see poll numbers like this, I keep remembering the last election. Many Repugs hated McCain and/or Palin, yet they held their noses really tight and voted for them anyway.

There's still a sizeable minority that will cling to god, guns and the party of Saint Ronaldus Magnus no matter what. And I've said it before: the seniors aren't really dying off all that fast, and they will, to person, go out and vote. And overwhelmingly, this portion of the population is totally addicted (seriously) to a steady diet of weirdo Beck (I think he has surpassed el Rusbo, but they listen to his b.s. too).

Long time 'till the next General Election. This crowd shows great staying power. I'd love to think of them as totally marginalized shrieking idiots, but whilst they are gibbering baboons (apologies to baboons), they are babbling fools that vote.

Plus there's always the spectre (not of Arlen) of voter fraud and rigged machines, and I'm not sure if BHO can rouse the masses to get offa their lazy asses to vote again. Sigh.

I will take my hand wringing and go home now....
