  • Discredited, unpopular former Vice President has opinions.
  • Here’s some change I can believe in.
  • Kristof: no more troops.
  • Nah, Fox never uses RNC talking points.
  • Uh, Laura? It’s not just Dole and Frist that lost.
  • See George W. Bush for $4.95.

Dick Cheney & George Bush screwed up Afghanistan back in 2001 and it only got worse from there. Cheney has to blame someone else for his failings, so he’s blaming President Obama now. This is what conservatives do!

Man I despise this man, his daughter, his family, his friends, and anything he’s ever laid his hands on!

“See George W. Bush”

No thanks, I need that $4.95 for two gallons of gas. Thanks again, George.

From the great man himself:

“In short, to call enhanced interrogation a program of torture is not only to disregard the program’s legal underpinnings and safeguards,” Cheney said. “Such accusations are a libel against dedicated professionals who acted honorably and well, in our country’s name and in our country’s cause….”

If Dick wants to sue for libel, be my guest.
Discovery proceedings would get interesting real fast.

Mornin’, BT, pups

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

From Kristoff’s piece

The United States was born of our ancestors’ nationalistic resentment of a foreign power whose troops we saw as occupiers, not protectors. The British never fathomed our basic grievance — this was our land, not theirs! — so the more they cracked down, the more they empowered the American insurgency.

My bold.

Horseshit. It was the land of the indigenous people, the Native Americans. We slaughtered them and stole it from them. Get yer fuckin’ history right, Kristoff.

I’m not sure what that’s about, but it sounds like Col. Wiedermann (Ret) is bitter because he fell for the old “how to pick-up a turd” trick, maybe more than once.

See George W. Bush for $4.95.

$4.95 What – is he gonna sit in a dunk-tank and let people throw baseballs?

If so, put me down for about $39.60.

mornin’ all.

You know, maybe the Republican resentment of the whole concept of political correctness explains their apparent determination to be blatently incorrect about everything.

Only if he’s not in a dunk-tank. Although, unlike jayt, I don’t think I’d plunk down $39.60 but I’d want 10 baseballs for my 5 bucks.

Leaders of all 564 federally recognized tribes will be invited, an announcement said, adding that they will be given the opportunity to interact directly with the president and other top administration officials.

Obama is going to spend individual quality time with 564 tribal leaders between 9am and 5:30pm? This I gotta see.
