Um, okay.
Sarah Palin has placed her resume on LinkedIn.
Known as the “Facebook for professionals,” LinkedIn is a social media site that displays more than 50 million people’s resumes and allows for virtual business networking for those interested in keeping in touch or finding a job. Palin’s resume includes her position as “Vice Presidential Candidate” for the 2008 election and goes back to 1992 where she was the Council Member for the Wasilla City Council.
Here’s a handy tip for the ‘Cuda: potential employers typically don’t like typos.

She’s interested in “job inquiries” and “expertise requests.”

About Firedoglake
Seems she could use a whole heaping of “Job Expertise”, inquiries and requests bedamned
The Ds ought to hire her. She’s causing a dustup in her own party.
WinkedIn!
That’s wonderful – and they are stuck with her! Hope she stays around for a long time. :)
In all fairness (and no matter how much it pains me), Marcia Briggs’ typo isn’t Palin’s fault.
She ain’t goin’ nowhere. She luvs being in the public eye.
Palin didn’t proofread her own resume before it was posted?
I think the “bloom is off the rose” as far a Palin is concerned and her book is only $9 at Amazon. That tells me a lot.
“Reason For Leaving Job: Ego.”
BT: GottaLaff is trying to get CNN to credit her with having found the LinkedIn info first. Here’s her post from yesterday.
“Ms. Palin, there are some serious gaps in this resume. Can you explain these?”
Todd quit his job so one of them has to work and she’s tanned and ready. I hear that Hooters is hiring.
Note that she doesn’t list the four other colleges she attended before she finally conned U of Idaho into giving her a degree.
I LOLered at the:
Yeah, it was pretty fucking apparent that you were out of touch honey, with reality.
That’s a pre-order price. Perhaps a gimmick by the publisher to get it on the best seller lists out of the box. Not sure how pre-order prices typically go, so just a guess on my part.
Hey U, I can haz job?
Reason for leaving last job: LAZY & thought I could make more money by grifting. Discovered that’s not working out so well, esp since LAZY hubby also is a QUITTAH, so I’m baaaaack looking for a way to stick my snout in the trough. Any troughs handy here on LinkedIn??
;-)
Bwahahaha!!!
“Offie” Manager – in charge of mob hits?
I hope Richard Heene contacts the ‘cuda for a Wife Swap episode.
Amazon is about 30% off. If you pre-order CERTAIN books you get a refund of maybe up to $3.50. Have never seen a book that hasn’t even been released this cheap (Ha).
Hell, even Chalmers Johnson’s first book in his trilogy, Blowback, goes for $11. Is Palin’s book in the children’s section? With lots of pix of pet goats an’ stuff? Or dead mooses and wolveses.
Back to the cesspool.
Namaste
Transferable skills:
Overpromising, under delivering
reneging on deals
shooting wolves and past sponsors and mentors
You betcha!!!
Eye vote yer comment the best.
All others are palin’ in comparison.
;~DW
For fun, when I was on amazon, I clicked on the biography that was written about her, gave “not useful” to all the 5-star reviews and “useful” to all the 1-star ones.
It could be called “Blamer vs. Lamer”
You’re confusing hers with W’s memoir.
too funny, surly girlie.
Amazon is showing that at $9 you are saving 69%. That a really big sale. It’s now ranked at #4 so I guess people are buying it.
Cheap thrills. It doesn’t take much to amuse me.
I do something similar because it’s just my little way of venting: At our local B&N, if I see a particularly loathesome author say, ann coulter or glenn beck, I’ll turn the front book around or put another book on top.
I know it’s juvenile, but I want to make people work to find it. make them have to ask for it vs. find it by browsing. neener neener.
Oh, good one. I’ll do that too. *g*

This is not only hilarious but just further exposes the fact that the Republican Party is irrelevant and the real political players are all Democrats…in fact, the corporate oligarchy may not even fund the damned GOP to any great extent in 2010 ‘cuz their money is better spent on Blue Dogs and Democratic insiders in the White House.
Her book is $9 bucks at Amazon…. Bwahahahahaha
OT, since I’ve got nothing to add to the well deserved beating Bible Spice is taking here…
Isn’t it sad how Dan Froomkin’s voice has been marginalized?
I know he’s got his hands full over at the HuffPo, but I miss how he brought light and focus every day to a wide variety of important topics, without nary a “balloon boy” story in the bunch.
Now, he’s just like reading Dionne, Robinson, or any other solid lib journalist whose opinion I may well agree with, but without the immediacy (and linky goodness) of his White House Watch format.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled flogging of Caribou Barbie…
OMG. WTF. I just checked on LinkedIn, which tracks the number of degrees of separation you are from somebody else.. and I’m only separated from her by two degrees (friend of a friend) … through two California State Assemblypersons, who are first generation contacts of hers. This is far too close for comfort. I’m doomed. The marketability of my LinkedIn accont is now zero. I’ll have to cancel my account… aaaargh! ;-)
Oh, the corps will continue to fund the Rs as well as the BDs. Can’t put all their eggs in one basket is a cliche that comes to mind.
Don’t ask, don’t spell.
My condolences.
see what a deleterious effect that woman has on economic activity? Ya know the funny thing is, if I’m linked to a bunch of Dems and I link directly to her, which I’m entitled to request as a 2nd generation contact of her’s, then won’t she be connected to a few hundred progressive liberals by a mere two generations? Maybe she’d have to quit linkedIn. Ah, the joys of online social networking…
Citizen eCAHNomics:
I just got a call from the DNC…I told ‘em that they weren’t gunna get another dime from me until Obama went balls out for the public option and got Harry Reid to include it in the merged bill. The caller said “That’s why we’re calling, to put pressure on politicians to grow a spine…” at which I told ‘im that the DNC was a White House operation and if Obama wanted a public option it would be there and that I was tired of ObamaRhama operations tryin’ ta get me to pay for politics that was directly against my own damned interests. Poor guy, I’ve done phone canvassin’ in the distant past and know how hard it is but after the caller said “Well…ah, I guess…” I just said “pass the message up the food chain and if you get enough responses like this to pass on you will see ‘em change their tune. You’re job will become part of the solution and not part of the problem.” Hope he has a real bad day.
707!
and props to twolf @ 3 as well – too damn funny
So I’m not the only one who does stuff like that?! It’s sorta petty, but it does make me feel good!
Good on you. It’s the only way to handle these political types who think we don’t have “any choice” but to vote for Ds (as one of O’s snotnosed reps told me).
Sounds linkalicious.
In all fairness, the “Offie Manager” typo is owned by Marcia Briggs, not Sarah Palin. The typo is in a LinkedIn-generated list of other employees who claim affiliation with that same “State of Alaska” employer.
I do note that Palin claims current employment as Governor. Obviously that’s a tad out of date.
Also guilty. And love doing it!
I thought the suggestion, recently seen here,at FDL, that Obama was likely the “best” we would see, presumably, in a lifetime … was a wee bit over the top, as well. (I guess I wasn’t affected the way it was expected that I should be?)
Maybe it is the dems who have “no choice”, particularly, if they want to stay “in business, as it were?
(Love your willingness to deflate the pompous, eCAHN. And you do it supremely well.)
DW
I think that suggestion came from Huttner or Salzman on Book Salon.
The internet brings out the worst in me. *g*
My edit didn’t survive refresh. Think it wasn’t Bartlett, but rather Huttner or Salzman.
Your edit survived. It just doesn’t appear so sometimes.
I’ve noticed it often recently (mainly cause my fingers get way ahead of slow brain and make many mistakes), but sometimes it won’t show up even after several refreshes but then I look later and it shows correctly.
*shrug*
I put it (upside down and turned around) in different sections of the bookstore.
Gee! I wonder if she put lady fisherman, moose hunter, makes a mean moose stew, on her resume.
