[UPDATE 11:00] Momentary delay. We’ll be transitioned very shortly. Keep standing by. . .

[UPDATE 12:13] We ran into a slight problem with a last minute compatibility issue. One more hour now.

[UPDATE 1:22 am] Had a glitch in program that doesn’t affect any of you, but does affect all the front page contributors. IT is fixing that before launching the site, because it will affect server issues. Once that is done, the site goes live. I think I’m calling it a night.

Bright side – a small local tel co-op (like real human beings) can issue the card and serve as intermediary. Unfortunately, they can’t provide my telco service.

ES – One place I recommend you check out is the rooftop bar at the W Hotel. Cool electro rhythms and a view straight across at the East Wing/ roof of the White House barely 200 yards away. You can literally wave at the ninja guarding the rooftop of the WH. In this day and age, it’s weird, really.

Last story – We were at the W Sat night and I went down to the street for some quiet and fresh air and to call my brother. The street was dead and I noticed a DHS car blocking a side street with the lights on. A moment passed and then a helicopter was hovering overhead. I figured something was about to happen. Then a loud rumble arose and 6 motorcycles flew by in single file at ~50mph , lights flashing, followed by a couple black SUVs, a black limo, a black ice cream looking truck probably holding enough arms to wage a small war, and half a dozen more DHS squad cars bringing up the rear. They turned right one block away past the Dept of Treasury and into the South side of the WH. I’m guessing it was the POTUS coming back from having a burger or something.
