President Obama should, of course, have a power point presentation ready showing how he intends to deploy his charisma and expend his political capital towards peace and harmony between the fatties and the bonies. He might even announce that President William Jefferson Clinton will serve as his special envoy. But whatever it may take, President Obama should announce that he will not rest and, in a shrewd Ghandian gambit, will not eat unless and until David Broder is satisfied that Obama is moving with all deliberate haste towards the goal of peace in our time between liberals/progressives and GOP fatties.
