Can you imagine all that fat splashing around in his private booth, sounds like a National Security Problem to me. If He got to excited he could become like the blob. All the people in the stadium could be in real danger.

The league better hope Rush doesn't go forward with this. Because you can be sure they want nothing to do with him and will never approve his purchase. Which brings the possibility that Rush would start a jihad against the anti trust exemption for professional sports teams which would be the death of them as we know them. I guess that is not a political battle he would win but throwing the light on it could have a material impact on team valuations and already the economic decline is pressuring many franchises. We are already in a sports franchise recession and mark my words that they are going to start failing in any case.

As sport team ownership is the ultimate ego play and since Rush is Mr Ego I don't doubt that this is a battle he might not be able to resist.

Jayt - many congratulations to you and your progeny — you’ve obviously been doing something right all these years

I think there is in-home hospice (a close friend’s mother had that in her final days, and now his sister does, with 24X7 nurses), and in-patient hospice, where they move into a hospice facility (my cousin had that sort of hospice for a few days before his death). I think it is for terminal illnesses only, but not necessarily with any time period limit.

Katy has been so brave. My thoughts of concern and healing go out to her.

You know I’ve said before that the way to stop Limbaugh is two fold.

1) Private investigators. Limbaugh is an addict and addicts rarely stay clean. He has been using again. Catch him. Limbaugh has been a sex tourist. That is a fact. We don’t know what the extent of that is, but do you ever wonder why he was caught with the Viagra pills and how that was uncovered and then dismissed. Evidence of other sex tourism (or evidence of the previous event) are things to use.

2) Counter intuitively on technique is to get him MORE coverage, but NOT the kind of coverage he can control. Rush is BAD when he can’t control the situation. He is different than Hannity who takes calls and argues with people. Rush’s history with TV is that when he is in an uncontrollable situation and is really questions he fails. And he might just let loose with some more racist or sick sexist nonsense.

3) Force his bosses to lose money on him. I have a current post on this issue at the Seminal How to Kick Tea Bagging Sponsors in the Wallet And Mess up their Media Coverage.
Limbaugh has made them a ton of money, they OWE him, but they are also paying him a lot of money. Is he worth it? Maybe they will ask to renegotiate his contract because of the advertising slump. Start suggesting that to his contract holders. “Your stock price will go up if you pay Rush less.”

Last night’s late late night:

larue, I’ve had two good nights, only on oral meds and O2. Elmore can travel without worrying and I get the best back rubs everrrrr

in today’s world of hospice, they do ask that I not seek treatment but now that I have had the morphine and oxygen I feel so much better. when I get stronger, I could go back home and try it. I can say no but youall need to understand the amount of tumors I have, sucks doesn’t it. think of it as assisted living vs hospice
