Obahma is no more an objective, disinterested player than Rahma. </p> <p>If you claim to want - or in fact work toward no particular goal - other than whatever will amass 60 votes - you want to do nothing, you have a Mitt Romneyesque level of political courage, or you want what your most conservative supporters want, because you’ve made them the linchpin to your strategy.</p> <p>To claim that you value “process” over “product” is meaningless; it’s political dodgeball.
