Oh, no you don’t.

The man’s a disaster, and even you folks are starting to recognize that. It’s not so much that he’s a Marxist, although he is — it’s that he’s never had to put his sophomoric ideology up against the real world, and when he does it blows up in his face, exactly as it ought.

At this point the only thing that would keep Obama from going down in history as the man who did his damnedest to ruin America and failed miserably out of incompetence is martyrdom. We’re not going to give you another JFK, and we aren’t going to clean up your trash for you.

If they had courage all of these people would be in Iraq and Afghanistan fighting the “islamofacists” who would be shooting back not strutting around unarmed citizens wearing guns. Today the military is begging anyone to come and join the fight but this bunch is still in the United States, just arming up. And they don’t mind one bit that there are honest to god private armies being employed by the government. They are worried about ACORN. These are not patriots, heroes or nationalists. They are something else.

You don’t need courage or brains to be scapegoats or punks keeping the real animals in power. That is what the militias are being groomed for to be patsies and new Klan posses. They are watching legislators all over the country make new places they can bring their guns and licking their lips waiting for a chance to “restore order”. These people have no interest in fighting a new Hitler over there or over here. They are waiting for him.

It’s ironic in the obscene that the very same people who claim to be such defenders of the Constitution are so anxious to flaunt it by encouraging a coup d’etat which would effectively negate its principles — !!!!

The reichwingers who’re advocating the overthrow of the government are a bunch of spoiled brats who refuse to recognize anyone they didn’t vote for as being legitimately elected. It’s the same “massive resistance” strategy that Southern states used to block integration after Brown v. BOE — just refuse to follow the law and throw a temper tantrum any time anyone tries to make you.

As for the armed militia bullies, I hope they’re stupid enuf to try something, so they can be smacked down really hard. They’re mostly a lot of old, overweight GI Joe types who never did anything in Vietnam and claim to be hardass heroes.

If we are expecting Micheal Moore to save the nation— then God help us all! The only thing that can do any good right now is harassing the hell out of every Democrat in power and letting them know that if they don’t get behind a public option, then they are fired! It doesn’t matter how much insurance lobbyist’s money they have socked away if WE all let them know we will NOT vote for them if they in ANY WAY derail a public option.

I for one, have had enough of all the reasoning and negotiating with Rethugs and Insurance and Pharma. Either you will vote for a REAL Public Option or you will not and if you will not then… Well, you’re fired. I’ll vote for Palin in 2012 just to spite you if you F*%* this up.

In my case, I’d say I’m moving left BECAUSE he’s moving right. He’s moving to the center because he thinks that’s the way to win in 2012. But he should be more worried about 2010 and losing all the energy of the millions of supporters who worked their asses off to get him elected. In other words, he should be thinking like Bush, i.e. ABOUT HIS BASE RATHER THAN ABOUT THE MIDDLE.

True, but in this case Democrats from across the country are targetting Democrats like Reid who are failures. Reid’s failure will deflate all energy in the Democratic base. Daschle lost because he got too comfortable and the Republicans outflanked him. Reid will lose because he’s not uncomfortable enough, and Democrats will work to take him down.
