If he is willing, he deserves what he gets. But we don’t.
I’m thinking Jay Rock was totally blown away by Kennedy’s illness and death. Plus, he’s getting up there and may be thinking about how he will be remembered.
I couldn’t watch the health care hearings today. BP needs me to take care with stuff like that.
But I did hear about Rep. Trent Franks, a Repub idiot from Arizona. I called his office and asked, “What’s this about your representative calling President Obama an enemy of the state?”
“Ma’am, ma’am. He did not say that.”
(pause)
“He didn’t?”
“No. He called him an enemy of humanity.”
“Oh well THAT makes it all better. Jesus is happy now.”
So she told me ‘you have a nice day now’ and I said ‘yeah yeah you too’ in that go play in traffic tone of voice.
In other Kent news Kent voted for %0 Billion abstinence only sex ed. I guess its ok to waste money to please a minority of Fundy voters on programs that don’t work.
I guess its not ok to save money if it hurts big business, even if the voters want it. Majority rule ended in this country when?
I swear, if you follow the language and activities of these fuckers since BO took office, I really think they’re fucking serious. And having been in and worked around the military a long time, I KNOW they’re full of the right wing Kool-Aid drinkers.
Watchin’ the local news…
I’m really, really glad I was home and off the roads before the rain started. It’s been really ugly–too much rain, too fast. Floods, traffic jams…yech.
There is another possibility. Obama comes into office, gets a real look at the influences driving policy and their utter immovability, and settles. It is possible that the job really is un-doable.
Imagine a bloodless coup to restore and defend the Constitution through an interim administration that would do the serious business of governing and defending the nation. Skilled, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars. Having bonded with his twin teleprompters, the president would be detailed for ceremonial speech-making.
8 years of failure at war and we are going to trust the army to run our government? 8 years of failure of any of the commanders on the ground to tell the President that yes they really needed more troops to win the wars but now they suddenly grow a pair?
This writer is aware of just how many regular troops are Black and Brown pushing Obama around might lead to officers getting fragged.
You can’t fight wars if the troops won’t follow.
While I’d love to see your beauty on TV, I don’t want to see you as one of those that always gets caught driving in water too deep.
Everyone knows about it, it’s been on TV a thousand times, everytime there’s flooding, and yet everytime someone else sees standing water in the road and thinks “I can make it” right before they’re on TV too.
A coup means we keep fighting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan which means we need to borrow more money.
Just how likely is China to buy our debt if the Army is in charge? The American Dollar will sink like a stone.
Obama has enough inside-players in his cadre – these people know the score. Clintonistas (I have to add that to my spell-check) know what he had in front of him. And what brain-donor thought the Republicans would give him even tiny victories? None.
They had to know what was coming.
Thanks.
Yeah, I don’t drive over “water over roadway”
Guess there’s one good thing about being unemployed…don’t gotta go out in bad weather if I don’t wanna!
It was actually a decent day until about 3:30. Good thing I did all my adventuring before that!
Still the GOP can’t even fantasize about winning elections now so they dream of Glen Beck’s 2,3 ? million person audience rising up to take back the country from the majority.
The GOP hopes the economy fails but then blames Obama for taking over the banks and GM even though according to their logic a government take over should cause the economy to get worse which would lead to a GOP return to power.
The GOP hopes for a terror attack so they can keep fighting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan…never mind Ossama is in Pakistan and Bush left him there while wasting our time in Iraq.
I’m not so worried about an actual coup, as I am worried about an actual “outbreak of hostilities.”
What I mean by that is I don’t think the military, in numbers needed, would go along. But I do worry what happens when one or two or three do try something, perhaps something violent.
Then are the right wingers going to finally denounce it as having gone too far, or will they once again rally to their side as they did in the Joe Wilson example. Because it’s little things like that, that then in the political discourse leads to bigger things, that have led to REAL PROBLEMS in the past.
These folks have gone beyond anything remotely resembling sane discourse. They’re on a path that only leads to one end. Most don’t think it’ll ever get to that end. I’m beginning to wonder.
While I am not worried about this directly, I find it disturbing that police in Pittsburgh used sonic weapons against protesters ON US SOIL and the media outcry was… nada.
So maybe I am not paranoid enough.
They won’t denounce it or defend it they will mention it in the news and then demand Obama not use this to start rounding up GOPers or punishing free speech.
They will deny their words led up to and caused any violence. We need to start a greatest of hate speech clips by Rush, Fox etc and then post it the next time there is a shooting.
Dave at Crooks and Liars should have the clips.
And we are still loosing what I think is our countries longest war against a 3rd world country. Despite having million dollar smart bombs, things like this restore my faith in the human spirt never being lost by or in technology.
I’m still shell shocked by the fact that we arrested and disappeared a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil for YEARS and the media was basically…..[crickets]
I mean the Jose Padilla case was the one that had me up in arms way back in the beginnings of the Bush admin. And I’d talk about it with folks and they’d be like “Jose Who??? No way man, they don’t arrest Americans without lawyers and charges.”
Ummm, yeah, they did. And not only that, they had the balls to argue before the SCOTUS that NO COURT had the authority to question this Presidential power. One thing those fucking R’s have is balls, I’ll give ‘em that. You could put every D politician in the country in a room and wouldn’t have a set, I don’t think.
But yeah, I hear ya. It’s scary how the media has been totally corrupted to, as Phoenix Woman says, “the GOP/Media Complex.” And she’s right on too.
So I didn’t go to the Bay Area Broadcasting Hall of Fame and interrupt Lee Rodgers. I guess after the reception that Kayne West and Joe Wilson got for their interruptions I figured it might make people feel sorry for him. (Plus he’s the kind of guy would would probably take a swing at me.)
But I did send a note to the radio industry insiders who were honoring him and asked them to notice the violent rhetoric coming out of KSFO and to question their role in the increase of violent attacks on people who don’t share their views.
Here is the diary I wrote on it. Radio Industry Honors Host Who Calls for Massacre of Iraqis
I agree about the total crazies, but I trust our military still. If there were a serious discussion of a coup, I’m thinking the media would be with us, as would the vast majority of the military folk.
Yep, agreed again. I couldn’t wait to wake up last November and go vote for Obama. It was the most enthusiastic I’d been in any election in my lifetime (I was alive for the Kennedy election when it was supposedly the same level of excitedness, but not old enough to vote or really understand).
And now???? I honestly can’t tell much of a difference between Obama’s stances on torture, warrentless wiretapping, indefinite detentions, the war (albeit a different one), etc. etc. etc. and Bush’s stances on those issues.
Even on the “transparency” issue that he just repeated and repeated, it was bullshit too. That sucks. And the worst thing, the BIGGEST crime of Obama IMO, is NOT holding Bush/Cheney responsible for their lawlessness. Because this only means that future Presidents will break the law too, perhaps including this one.
Or maybe I’m stupid. I can’t believe I’m that naive, so it must be I’m stupid.
Either way, I’ve decided Obama doesn’t get my vote in 2012, at least not as of right now.
I catch myself when I think that – that voting for Obama is a no-go.
I remember well what I thought when he told a Saturday morning crowd in Missouri last June that he was for expanding Bush’s Faith-Based initiative – head exploded.
When he said he favored looking forward – furious. When he told 60 Minutes that the Iraq surge worked beyond our wildest expectations – fucking through the roof.
And then I looked at the alternative.
To his credit, he really telegrapohed much of this during the campaign.
I’ve been thinking about our coordinated response to the next shooting.
They have theirs, “Don’t politicize this! Let the families morn!”
We need something. They have dodges to the shooting, “We didn’t pull the trigger!” and they have dodges to the people, “They are crazy people!”
Lately I’ve been working on how to link them with financial liability to violence that comes out of tea parties. When someone is hurt who has civil liability? The organizers? Did they take out insurance? Do their carriers know they are behind this? Most carriers don’t like to insure protest rallys (or gun shows).
No Kevin Holder is a criminal in Lincoln Nebraska who was arrested something like 226 times for property crimes. Rodgers thought that this was worthy of torture and execution.

Did they take out insurance? Do their carriers know they are behind this? Most carriers don’t like to insure protest rallys (or gun shows).
This is a great idea we need the Lake’s lawyers to weigh in.
I sent the letter to all the people at KGO, KSFO’s sister station. They of course ignored it, but I wish that one of them would have told Rodgers that his comments were a disgrace to the industry and to retire already.
That’s where you and I, and to be honest, I and many others, part ways. Because I’m no longer going to vote for the D simply because it is the “lesser of two evils.”
I’m just not. But I do understand others that do, especially because I’ve done it so many times I can’t count. I figured the D party was better than the R party, so therefore even if I didn’t much like the D on the ballot in front of me it was better than the R.
My first step was to do research on insurance carriers and that’s where I found out that they didn’t like to cover these kind of events. Then I wrote the station management and pointed out what the host was doing. (link)
Then I alerted the media to give credit for the event to the station and the host. (link)
Seems like you have a few plans we need the FDL lawyers to weigh in and we need some group to bring up lawsuits against these guys.
We need to contact the victims and try a class action lawsuit against the guys backing the tea baggers.
Sorry, but IANAL, and I know the stuff the very good Spocko was discussing probably doesn’t come close to sedition, but writing about a military coup???? That’s gotta be in the neighborhood at least doesn’t it??? Or was sedition an old crime that no longer exists???
Sorry for my ignorance. I’m genuinly asking because I’m genuinly ignorant.
At the very least we need to know who their donors are so we can do consumer boycotts and have ev ery Lefty blog have a list on the side of every post.
The Glen Beck ad boycott we need to expand and coordinate with them. I want Lou Dobbs to be next. I want all Fox advertisers on every show to be hit.
Oh well, as I suspected, after doing some research (albeit admittedly “teh Google” research), it appears most of this follows under “free speech” and is therefore not illegal.
I understand that. And on many levels agree with that.
Yet I still can’t get it out of my imagination what would’ve happened had that same NewsMax column been printed in 2006 under HuffPo suggesting the military should consider a coup instead of contintuing a failed war in Iraq.
Probably just the bias in me. Yeah, that’s what it is.
All in all the Tea Baggers and the Right Wing Media by advocating violence and hate are scaring off Moderates and Minorities and Non Racists.
The Public in general are paying attention to the issues and they see the link between GOP/Tea Bagger hate speech and shootings ( I would love some polling on this).
The GOP/Tea Baggers are lying about Obama Healthcare etc and its obvious no Reagan Code words to hide that fact does lying weaken the GOP’s case in voters minds yes, how many voters think the GOP is lying more than they used to, How many voters are less likely to support an issue that they know one side lied about? (Again we need polling on this)
Any cause the Crazy advocate gets tainted I see the country going more Left the longer the Healthcare debate goes on.
Heck the more Left Obama goes like hopefully ending the wars the more Crazy the GOP the more they scare off Voters.
But the key is a long campaign to educate voters on the issues and give the GOP Crazy response time to sink in to the public.
We need to get the level of emotion and regular voter interest high enough on the issues that regular voters feel they have to educate themselves by hearing both sides to the argument.
Between Google making research easy and Lefty Blogs providing a fact base placed to discuss and develop these ideas we create more informed voters.
Because Obama truly believes single-payer is the better way to go.
If he truly believed in a public option he would fight for it and get it.
Sorry to be brutal, but that’s the way I see it.
OTOH, listening to the Republicans lies, distortions and stupidity makes me want to throw up. Remember the scene in Animal House…yeah, like that.
No, not the dead horse, the throwing up on the Republican college dean.
It’s not just that I disagree with their opposition to the public option. It’s that Americans, even Republicans, deserve far better representation than these idiots and liars.
Sen. Crapo: How much will the Rockefeller amendment save?
Staffer: about $400 Billion dollars.
Sen. Crap: I’m against that.
Sen. Ensign: I’m against any public option and since there’s one in the House bill I’m against all health reform because we might get the public option in the final bill and then in some future Congress it might get changed.
Geez, I think Ensign and Conrad were working together slapping one another’s back.
Sen. Grassley: smiling and laughing while Jay Rockefeller said there were uninsured kids in WV and people going bankrupt because of healthcare bills. The people of Iowa ought to run him out of the state, though I’d hate to see another state have to take him in.
Sen. Kyl: But but state health insurance commissioners will make it work.
Sen. Cantwell: Prices have gone up over 100% in 10 years because they didn’t.
Sen. Kyl: *crickets*
The Republicans know the public option will work and save a lot of money.
They clearly oppose it because they don’t want the public to like Dems.
Sen. Ensign said they didn’t want this new entitlement to have a constituency.
They clearly oppose it because they would rather destroy America than to let Dems govern.
The Republicans aren’t representing the needs of their entire states, just a handful of special interests called The Rich. Or as George W. Bush called them, the Haves-and-Have-Mores, His Base.
OTOH, they also made it clear that anything government creates can get changed and grow into a monster which can’t be killed. I suppose they would love for their “defense” projects to be killed off because they have a constituency and cost more than originally projected. Well, they did complain Obama hasn’t really cut much of anything significant. Maybe now’s the time.
the white van has moved off my tubes. not sure how they zapped both the cable modem and the router but both died mon nite at 8:15 pacific. took 3 hours this morning along with 3 separate calls to tech support to get the new cable modem up and running.
lurk did a great job (and i have to admit my shoes make lurk’s legs look good). i’m not going to say one word about the chocolate pudding splattered on the walls.
Blanche Lincoln is celebrating her 49th birthday September 30th. Call her up, wish her a happy birthday, and tell her what’s on your mind.

Bruce Springsteen – Dancing in the Dark
Good evening all.
Suzanne is once again in the grip of the guys in the white van.
So it is me instead.
Not so lurking…me thinks you may have vanned Suzanne yerself to frolic against the wind!
What do the people here think about the Senate hearings? Whats the next step?
Hardly.
Suzanne’s are a tough pair of shoes to fill.
Well, we could have a party till Suz comes.
Do the rest of need to worry about these guys in a White Van pulling up to our house?
What will Suz do if this is what she comes home to?
yup!!
I’m thinking ’bout my dignity! rock on bob seger!
Hey Things, you remember this song?
Fingerprint File
I think her daughters would be in trouble.
Dang, who’s that in the middle?
I’d call TRex, but maybe not.
Food fight!
Where is larue?
Realize that she’s at the wrong house cause that looks like my place! Hmmm from the camera angle I think I know where Darth put the camera.
I think they stink. You?
I had to laugh when I saw film of the vote v/o from newscaster. Kent Conrad would not move his head yes or no and his lips only flickered when he said “no” v. the PO. snake. The guy next to him (didn’t recognize) nodded AND said yes.

Kirsty MacColl – In These Shoes
Our United States Senate just plain blows.
I don’t know where Larue is, but here’s Suz’ welcome back group.
Hey, Lurk!
Hey, Pups!
Lurk, are ya sure it’s the white van dudes hassling Suzanne? Bet she’s having the same weather I am up here in Seattle. It’s raining HARD. Wreaking havoc with power and other things.
FunnyWheelieDiva
There is a Republican Congressman’s face missing from that picture.
That’s what I meant to say and how I wished I’d said it! :P
Last time you said no food. Inconsistent mod standards?
Oh! Hope you and our dearest Suzanne are doing ok soon!
Hey! Who is the Moderator in these here parts?
*ducks*
It’s so odd
when the lurking mod
comes to play
when they should stay away
it’s when they lurk
that they really work
I watched the markup all day since I got home from seeing a client.
There’s nothing to say but that. What a waste of oxygen.
Thanks. I’m fine now. And I’m sure she’ll get the worse of it out there on the coast.
Was fun tip-toeing around in the pitch dark to find an emergency tea-light, though. Should have seen it coming when we got a brown-out, but nooooo.
FWDiva
She is very angry about the outage, and would Mod by carrier pigeon if she could.
Honesty I never heard that song before however does it have anything to do with these guys in the White Van? :)
Don’t be a jerk
We love our Lurk
he can stay
and play and play
let’s not fight
it’s gonna be a dark & stormy night!
FWDiva
I am going to use this when I ask for dental coverage.
More to do with the storm that’s going through, I’d wager!

I only saw a little. Perhaps because I know so much about how things really work having been tutored by folks here, that it is all just so much pomp and BS. You’d think there’d be just a tad more passion about helping America they claim to love.

Good point. Chocolate pudding – splat!
LOL!
I guess I can stick around for a few more minutes then?
Well, I think so but here are the lyrics so you can decide:

Hey, FHD. Do you need the rain? We sure do in San Diego County. Looks like we may get a little too.
I didn’t see it and missed half the live blogging thats why I’m asking. Kent’s barely moving suggests the pressure is on, the Senate knows what they are doing is unpopular and will bite them later.
I am sickened by Baucus, he sits there with a smile on his face after he screws the country. Nelson of FLA should be primaried and taken out. I miss our Suze
Our lurk is fine
but Suze is divine
I’m not a jerk
she said in the derk.
I’m sure we don’t need it as much as SD County and environs!
Not really sure how we’re doin’ for water here. I suspect OK.

You guys are really showing strong stuff this evening!
My favorite song of all time is a Bob Segar song.
Used to be J11 on the jukebox at the American Legion I hung out at, and everyone knew it as my song. Anyone familiar with “Turn the Page”? Man I love that song.
Sorry, this one got me thinking of it. Useless info there as usual.

Dammit.

Chocolate!
I hear ya, bro. Baucus sickens me too and WOW! Jane is a force to be reckoned with for keeping up the pressure and covering the story like a real analyst/investigative journalist!!! remember those?
Reform to GOP/Dinos means OK, we’ll stick it to ya even more. There’s your change. spit.
Rock actually did a great job today. Marcy officially changed his name from Jello Jay to Jay Rock!
Ok, Ok,
was just joshin’ ya.
I bow to your superior rhyming capability!

I saw the clip on newshour and the body language was interesting. in case you wanted to see what I saw. just sayin’
Well, not in any JUST country, anyway.

This is Rockefeller pounding on the health insurance companies today.
It is long, and very good.
Hah very good!
I love derk.
Oh! that IS something. I only saw a little bit of the boring parts and then newshour “highlights”. Yet, as good as you and EW say he was, the chowderheads voted it down.

Here it is, OFG.
Fdiva…Imma let you finish, but Suze has the greatest Late Late Nite in the entire world!!!!!!!!!!

LM runs a tight ship, we best clean up before Suz gets back.
The rub.
If ObamaCare goes down, he suffers mightily. The PO is actually in his interest, and we are his friends there.
He is missing part of the equation.
I don’t know why I’m rhyming tonight. I must be punchy.
Let’s see, we want to screw ourselves outta health care, education, and our savings. what are we missing?
Awesome, thanks.
Still singing right along with it.
“On a long and lonesome highway, east of Omaha……”
LOL, it’ll forever be my song.
Thanks for that!
This is someone else’s house, and that counts.
Plus, she would filet me if the place was wrecked.
ezzackly.
It’s not that he don’ got a pair, it’s that he doesn’t know who he’s a-pose ta be standing up for and who ta stand up to.

You know, for some reason I keep thinking Obama will resurrect this whole schmeboly.
I think the men of steel (and women…) are gone. I wonder how much of Rockefeller’s show was just that. Sorry for being so cynical. I still feel like there hasn’t been enough pushback from the B.S. No brainer.
Hah! I was posing as someone stupid enough to think my elected official might actually represent me. And if s/he is representing me now, this must be what I want. Right?
It would be great if he was getting terrible advise, because there’s something to be done about that.
I cannot help but think that Val Jarret and Axelrod are shut out of the decision tree.
That’s the part that I just don’t get. He’s not dumb, he knows the score. It seriously feels like I am living in an alternate universe. If the dems can’t get healthcare done with 70% + in support of it, absolutely nothing will get done. And that is exactly what the republics want. yeah! I think that went first. voting and expecting a different result.
doesn’t the chief of staff decide who gets access? that would explain tons.
Clearly he has other friends.
Booolshiite.
Is what all of this is.
Unless, this is some sort of 11-dimensional chess Obama is playing that I can’t see. I will gladly be the blind fool.
OTOH, if he is truly married to bi-partisan-or-bust, we are screwed. But he will have to know that he is detonating his Presidency on behalf of The Republican party.
If he is willing, he deserves what he gets. But we don’t.
sigh. as newtonuser says, the senate just blows.
see y’all tomorrow.
once more into the breach!

If he is willing, he deserves what he gets. But we don’t.
This thought says it all. Where does that leave folks?
In other Kent news Kent voted for %0 Billion abstinence only sex ed. I guess its ok to waste money to please a minority of Fundy voters on programs that don’t work.
I guess its not ok to save money if it hurts big business, even if the voters want it. Majority rule ended in this country when?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/…..03812.html
If that were true – about the chess – why would he expend ALL of his political capital in a battle he seems to want to lose?
I do not get it. He can swing hard and win.
Obama doesn’t strike me as somebody wanting to be a one-termer.
Are you getting killer rain too, newt?
*sigh*. Shit.
Sick.
nite dosido
I slept through the storm it seems to be over in Beacon Hill.
BTW,
Anyone else catch the MediaMatters column discussing some right wing blowhard at NewsMax talking about a military coup to handle the “Obama” problem????
I swear, if you follow the language and activities of these fuckers since BO took office, I really think they’re fucking serious. And having been in and worked around the military a long time, I KNOW they’re full of the right wing Kool-Aid drinkers.
This shit is getting out of control.
We’re dry up here. But we could use some wet.
I agree about the swinging. When does he???
Unbelievable, isn’t it? And now there are folks seriously talking about a “peaceful military coup” whereby Obama could still be the figurehead.
God lord. His staff is stupider than he is!
Dude has some game, and he’s leaving it in the locker room. He is up, and the bat lies there on his shoulder.
Who is saying this?
“Some wet” is always a good thing.
See OFG at 91.
Well, this Cardinal fan needs me some Pujols, dig?
Yeah, I do. But Luis missed the filing deadline.
Watchin’ the local news…
I’m really, really glad I was home and off the roads before the rain started. It’s been really ugly–too much rain, too fast. Floods, traffic jams…yech.

I’m glad you’re home too. Worried about Suz now, though.
There is another possibility. Obama comes into office, gets a real look at the influences driving policy and their utter immovability, and settles. It is possible that the job really is un-doable.
But I don’t believe that.
http://mediamatters.org/blog/200909290042
8 years of failure at war and we are going to trust the army to run our government? 8 years of failure of any of the commanders on the ground to tell the President that yes they really needed more troops to win the wars but now they suddenly grow a pair?
This writer is aware of just how many regular troops are Black and Brown pushing Obama around might lead to officers getting fragged.
You can’t fight wars if the troops won’t follow.
I don’t belive it either.
Rain is not Suzanne’s problem. It is her cable company. She is pissed about not being here, but safe and snug.
Well you take care OK?
While I’d love to see your beauty on TV, I don’t want to see you as one of those that always gets caught driving in water too deep.
Everyone knows about it, it’s been on TV a thousand times, everytime there’s flooding, and yet everytime someone else sees standing water in the road and thinks “I can make it” right before they’re on TV too.
Be carefull, kay??
I will say this: if I were equipped with the Democrats he has now, I would wonder how much is possible. They have history, and none of it very good.
Un real isn’t it??
Now close your eyes and imagine, OK???
Just imagine HuffPo had written a similar article in 2006.
Still imagining???
Are you seeing folks being rounded up, disappeared, tortured, never to be heard from again, or is that just my imagination???
A coup means we keep fighting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan which means we need to borrow more money.
Just how likely is China to buy our debt if the Army is in charge? The American Dollar will sink like a stone.
I’m seeing even the commentors getting rounded up by guys in white vans!
Good to know. Thanks, LM.
I don’t, either,
and there is NO excuse for lying down and rolling over without a fight!!
FWDiva
I’m not worried about a coup, but it’s crazy how far these tea baggers will go, isn’t it?

Well, pups
It’s been lovely. Thanks for the company.
G’night!
FWDiva
While I am not worried about this directly, I find it disturbing that police in Pittsburgh used sonic weapons against protesters ON US SOIL and the media outcry was… nada.
So maybe I am not paranoid enough.
nite diva
Remember what Rummy said? “There are no good targets in Afghanistan.”
G’nite FWDiva.
Take care.
Nite Funny
I came to expect this kind of behavior under Bush, sorry as it was. It never occurred to me that Obama would protect them. Again, naive.
Rodgers is a stain.
I agree about the total crazies, but I trust our military still. If there were a serious discussion of a coup, I’m thinking the media would be with us, as would the vast majority of the military folk.
Secret Service is earning their money, for sure.
There was a part of me that really wanted to go, but I would be like watching George Tenet getting the President Medal of Freedom from Bush.
A friend of mine said that I do rub enough salt in the wounds of my enemies. But I’m just not that kind of Vulcan.
spocko, when you said Kevin Holder did you mean Eric Holder?
I live in KGO-KSFO territory. I know them well. These creeps make Jim Eason look sane.
No Kevin Holder is a criminal in Lincoln Nebraska who was arrested something like 226 times for property crimes. Rodgers thought that this was worthy of torture and execution.
This is a great idea we need the Lake’s lawyers to weigh in.
I sent the letter to all the people at KGO, KSFO’s sister station. They of course ignored it, but I wish that one of them would have told Rodgers that his comments were a disgrace to the industry and to retire already.
you are on a roll tonight!
jest a quik drive by here, I’ve been down in a faraway crevice having a zesty exchange with macawearieman.
Dave at Crooks and Liars is the expert on hate crimes I’m sure he has some thoughts. A multi blog action plan would be very good.
Dave’s book scared the hell out of me 8 months ago. Then it came true.
But I can’t do that anymore. I just CAN’T.
Sorry.
My first step was to do research on insurance carriers and that’s where I found out that they didn’t like to cover these kind of events. Then I wrote the station management and pointed out what the host was doing. (link)
Then I alerted the media to give credit for the event to the station and the host. (link)
I figure the coming disappointments will take me over the edge, and then I will hit the booth in the general… and I will vote to reelect.
But as far as my money goes – nothing. My industry – zero. My enthusiasm – nyet.
And Obama would not have won without all 3 from a whole lot of people this last time.
Seems like you have a few plans we need the FDL lawyers to weigh in and we need some group to bring up lawsuits against these guys.
We need to contact the victims and try a class action lawsuit against the guys backing the tea baggers.
We need a state prosecutor willing to bring up criminal charges.
I think a RICO suit is needed.
Is sedition still a crime?
Good question beats me.
i am out you guys
sleep awaits
see you soon
Take care and g’nite.
Nite
But, on the recalcitrant Dems…wtf
the white van has moved off my tubes. not sure how they zapped both the cable modem and the router but both died mon nite at 8:15 pacific. took 3 hours this morning along with 3 separate calls to tech support to get the new cable modem up and running.
lurk did a great job (and i have to admit my shoes make lurk’s legs look good). i’m not going to say one word about the chocolate pudding splattered on the walls.
thanks to everyone
