2. Is Bill Clinton hogging the limelight from the President’s overexposure?

3. Why do I keep writing stories about John Edwards when there’s all this Obama overexposure to ponder?

4. Senator McCain, this is the 13th time you’ve been on a Sunday morning talk show in the 36 weeks Obama’s been President, how overexposed is he?

Zed is dead. Right? Good evening, Attaturk.
Kurtz and Tapper are definitely overexposed. I’d suggest they retreat from the spotlight for a while. A long while.
Must be a really slow night. Was asleep on the couch, just happened to wake up and wandered over to the kitchen. Lo and beold,, no comments on this thread yet. Been mostly lurking lately. How are you, Attaturk?
Speaking of overexposure and thinking about whom I haven’t see on the tube for a while. Ain’t it about time for crazy Liz Cheney to pop up again and comment about how Obama’s hurting America’s security again?
Good morning all and thanks for the post Attaturk.
McMumbles on Sunday morning? OH BOY! No wonder the talking head shows are largely ignored by the public.
At least on Little Georgie’s Hair we will get to see George Will pontificate on his own importance and how stupid we the people really are.
Can’t. Wait. Honest.
Oh that’s funny! I really enjoyed the joke.
When are these people going to start asking real questions?
What does Howie think of the government plan to allow (encourage/test?) uranium poisoning of the troops?
Does Chuckie think global ‘depleted’ uranium poisoning is an irrelevant issue from his lofty view at 30,000 feet?
I think the using of DU weapons might actually be an actionable offense for treason.
I’d like to see it fully investigated by the press and treated as the serious criminal matter it is by the DOJ.
Chuckie’s never heard of depleted uranium munitions.
OT Justice Ginsberg hospitalized
Apparently a precaution after receiving iron therapy. Nothing new since last night. Fingers crossed.
Am I attributing too much intelligence to the general run of public officeholders by suspecting they want to avoid exposure to the public since what they are actually doing is blatantly not in the public interest they are elected to serve?
Makes sense to me.
Does McCain ever show up at his day job?
My son’s currently taking a course in Public Relations. I was reading his textbook last night and there was a section on how important it is to have the public behind you and thus PR pros are in demand. My thought was that there seems to be a trend that Corps now realize that the money is better spent buying Congress and screw the public opinion.
that’s a terrific observation, I remember when it was posted the k street grocery list, how cheap it was to buy a law and a senator
we need to get that laundry list back up in the lime light, then it was republicans, now it’s both
Since the public opinion polls seem to show that the public for the most part seems to be breaking away from believing what elected officials tell them, maybe those officials will be reluctant to spend the money cultivating the newfound realists, but it’s too far to stretch to think they might actually start serving their constituents because of those realities.
Which pampered, priviledged and rich celebrity pundit, newsreader or “journalist” of the corporate media is overexposed? The answer. Every last one of them. The U.S. needs Cronkites, I.F. Stones and E.R. Murrows more than ever and we have the likes of Couric, Williams, Hume, Todd, Gregory et al. Truly a sorry state.
Yep, everywhere we turn the right wing is in our face whether it’s on our televisions or radios. Too much exposure and brainwashing! I say we work to minimize this horrible virus that has overtaken our country.
OT-CNN’s doing a segment on the guys buying peroxide to make bombs. I think this one’s for real.
Hopefully not.
Good morning all.
What kind of peroxide? The last time (shoe bomber?) I asked a chemist friend and he said that the peroxide must be a lot more concentrated than the stuff you buy OTC.
If people are claiming Obama is overexposed.
It’s because he’s doing something right, because they’re clearly scared!
Strange that at the same time we have aspiring bombers in several places at once. And the one in TX I see was posting violent stuff on terrorist labelled chat rooms.
Reports I have seen said he was buying more concentrated then trying to boil it down and concentrate it further.
Peroxide from a beauty shop to dye hair.
If you boil down peroxide, the extra oxygen evaporates & it ceases to be peroxide.
Terrorists turning themselves into blonds so they won’t look like Arabs?
Same here. A news report last night was about the CO suspect renting an apartment and traces of concentrated peroxide found around the stove.
Didn’t see any reports that said he was smart. He rented a motel room with stove and FBI did analysis of vent hood and acertained that is what he was trying to do.
We all know how accurate the FBI lab is.
Treason in the Morning.
In it’s totality TREASON
I’m off and I’m expecting a hectic day at work. But on the outside chance that I get to check in, what time do you think the vote on the Public Option will be?
All of these “plots” are FBI enduced because they can’t find them some real terrists. They look for vulnerable people who will easily be drawn into schemes. In an antiwar.com interview I listened to on the subject, the interviewee said that an FBI agent acknowledged that once they start a sting operation, they always arrest someone. I.E. it is the sting operation itself that creates the “crime.”
That is a pretty broad brush.
OT
plot thickening;
‘Iran has admitted the existence of a second uranium enrichment plant in a letter sent to the International Atomic Energy Agency, a U.S. diplomatic source told CNN…U.S. and French intelligence officials have known about the facility for several months, the source said. When Iran discovered that Western nations had knowledge of the facility, it sent the letter to the IAEA.’
http://cnnwire.blogs.cnn.com/2…..-facility/
Or that they can’t stand that they can’t control how the public sees him.
Funny how a press that is so subservient to Republicans puts on its tough-guy mask when dealing with a Democrat.
You can thank the FBI agent for that. He said they ALWAYS arrest someone in a sting. Now do you think that the FBI is lucky enough to establish stings every single time when a crime is underway without FBI help? Ludicrous. You can also think about it from a bureaucratic POV. Imagine you are an agent who talks the FBI into putting resources into a sting. You certainly have to come out of it with an arrest, otherwise your career is toast. Then think about it from the evidence of who’s been arrested in “terrorist” plots so far. The most vulnerable and down & out, the kind that it’s easy to entrap.
Yup. And as usual the fact that Iran is allowed by treaty to have nuclear power plants, which need fuel of the sort provided by these facilities, will be ignored inthe rush to urge turning Teheran into a radioactive glass parking lot.
No doubt the dark side will jump at the chance to accuse the administration of not keeping us ’secure’ — ignoring how it happened on their watch.
We hear about the successful ones but not all the ones that are not.
Its amazing to me how narrow the focus is of these 24/7 news channels are. A couple years ago I was in Mexico and when I tuned into the news they were watching a hurricane heading towards Japan. I thought how interesting and useful it would be to have a news channel in the USA that truely reported on news from around the world.
How is that not racial (or religious or political) profiling?
That is the whole point of a sting, you set it up and wait for someone fool enough to fall for it. Some go quick, some take a long time and need BIG budgets.
I think they try to get increasingly clever, to catch more bait, but in actuality that just means they increasingly try to fool us with their lies and falsehoods. There is a lot of lying going on, not something that I think our taxes should be paying for.
What are the arguments against helping them build an oil refinery instead? Their religion?
Really? He should. Maybe this will help us get the message through to him,

I hope veterans suffering from DU caused diseases will contact him.
He suspended his day job to fix the economy over a year ago.
In the paper they said they knew about the terrorist entering NYC 2 weeks ago, w/bomb making plans on his computer. WTF? Why didnt they arrest him then and there?! Something smells.
Damn! When the MSM decide on a theme, there is no going back on it! Facts be damned …
