When he was born it was SOP to put a premie into an oxygen rich environment which, later science revealed, causes the retinas to become detached. Something like that.

He was a premie so had them in both eyes. Lost his sight in the left eye in 97 after his golf ball hit him just below the eye. That day’s a story unto itself. When I turned him on to tigers he learned real fast to follow instructions to the letter. Plus he can’t play golf with his golf league if he can’t see. Now that he can drive safely he owes a bunch a guys rides to the course.

This Kurt fella seems to be doing a good job of annoying a lot of people.

I’ll bet he’s glad we don’t respect freedom of speech here the way they do at LGF or Freeperville, where comments from liberals are quickly deleted and their accounts quickly erased. You know us liberals, we can’t handle dissent. That’s why all his comments have been deleted, Right, Kurt? We don’t respect diversity of opinion the way the right does. After all, during Bush’s 8 years in office, Republicans always cultivated bipartisanship and were always respectful to the minority Democrats, right? We should all strive to be so respectful. Maybe the next time a Republican veteran runs for office, I can wear a purple-heart band-aid to show my respect for his service!

It’s great when you hear right-wingers say things like, “I don’t know, I just don’t trust him” or “I always just used to trust my government, but now…” and “I’d *like* to give him the benefit of a doubt, but some of things he’s said, I just don’t know…”, because these are, basically, expressions of bigotry!

Do you know what it means when you have an emotionally negative reaction to someone and always assume the worst about them but have no logical source for that animosity? It means you’re prejudiced! Congratulations!

When you think your group deserves a double-standard, that’s called being prejudiced. You don’t get to disguise it by insisting the media endorse and enforce it silently. It still counts as bigotry.
