Had to take my friend Joe back to the eye doctor this mornin’ to see how the cataract surgery went yesterday afternoon. Says he sees better than he did 5 years ago. There was some concern before the surgery that the retina would tear, which is fairly common in folks with detached retinas. Seein’s how he only has one good eye this was quite the concern. Long drive to and from and the space cadet left his eye drops and instructions in my truck so I had to take them to him. I’d have ended up back at his house anyhoo. He couldn’t read the instructions or the labels on the teeny bottles so I had to copy the instructions in large print and mark the bottles with big letters with magic marker.

Real news sources would make they little heads explode.
