No sense in being coy about it. We’re not meeting our goal. In fact, the fundraising for these four sucks.
I know cash is tight, but unless conservatives are willing to step up to the plate, we’re not going to get these guys elected and, frankly, the establishment of the Republican Party will keep ignoring us.
Yes they will, Erick. Despite your pathetic attempts to kiss up to them.
Anyway…
Let’s be honest. One of the reasons the left is so head over heels in love with the online left is because of the moonbat ability to turn on the cash. Even Ron Paul’s followers do better than conservatives.
So Ron Paul, who’s a member of the Liberty Caucus and was a keynote speaker at CPAC in February and has one of the most right-wing voting records in Congress — isn’t a conservative? Uh, okay.
Here’s a thought. Maybe the reason for the epic fail, Erick, is the number of people who are compelled to give money to candidates to the right of Ron Freaking Paul isn’t sufficient to build a winning political movement.
Hope that helps.
PS.
The "Standing Up For The Public Option" campaign at ActBlue is over $400,000.

Zed!
Ha hah!
I love that.
And Operation Rescue is about to go under according to Karen M’s Diary. Hurray! Starve them out of business.
Ha hah!
I love that too!
BT you are deliciously brutal.
Support the Fighting…FAIL!
Wait…are you saying Operation Rescue is…aborting?
I’m skeptical. It sounds like a typical religious wingnut fund raising strategy.
We need to get these conservative groups down to a size they can be drowned in a bathtub.
LOL – sorta makes the day worth something, doesn’t it?
That’s great about Act Blue and the $400,000 for Public Option. But I was surprised to notice the other day (after having it brought to my attention) that Senator Mary Landrieu has been donated to through Act Blue. I read the FAQ on Act Blue, which explained how that is possible, but still, why in the hell is Act Blue involved in being a conduit for money raising for someone who is as DINO and as egregious as Mary Landrieu is?
Oh dear…now we can expect the roadside signs of these guys to resemble the felt-penned, misspelled hate messages seen at the “9/12 Protests”.
“Beware the Oligarhy, Morans.”
The GOP does not want Ron why he raised cash and had motivated people Sarah only brought in motivated people. Ron would bring money and motivated people to the GOP he would make a great GOP VP if the GOP is sane they will choose him or Sarah.
Sarah brings in the 20%ers who should already be in the GOP’s base all the GOP has done for months is pander and throw red meat to their base the GOP should have them by now.
Ron would bring in people the GOP does not have but need to win. The GOP needs to attract more people to win elections.
Roadside signs are #1 method of how they stay “infromed”.
to the right of Ron Freaking Paul? I’m afraid to ask what their stands are on the issues.
Now now now, no violence please. We’re lefties. Leave the violence to the righties! *g*
I do miss the Burma Shave signs.
I agree, they will pick a VP to bring in the 20%ers. My eye is on Squirrel Popper Huckabee as the not-so-stealth candidate for VP.
Petreaus-Gates will be the R ticket for 2012.
LOL.
Candidate says
Campaign Confusing
Babies kiss me
Since I’ve been using
Burma-Shave
seriously? with so many people tired of the war? Hmm.
We need to put Nelson on an endless loop and embed him over at Erick’s place, pointing at their funding widget.
I say Willard-Palin.
Is his Fox show any good does he have a following I admit I have not watched it. Still how good can it be I almost never hear anyone here rant about his show?
Or does he have some other appeal to voters? Moderates perhaps he’s not as crazy as Ron or Sarah that could be his selling point if the GOP goes after Moderate voters.
They’ll run on the basis of the fact that they’re the only ones who know how to win the war. I hear that Petreaus is a very ambitious man, and Gates is in the perfect position to undermine Obama.
Just running it up the flagpole. Heard it on an antiwar.com interview and was intrigued.
Riddle:
What do Mitt, Palin, and Huck all have in common?
besides crazy GOPness, that is.
Just wait until Decider Bush gets into fundraising mode. There’ll be cash aplenty, right?
I don’t see the Republics nationally getting past Willard’s religion.
Oh that is his genius…Huck IS as crazy but comes off as sane and oh so genial, bless his heart.
Have not watched his show either…
OK. New audiobook disc is loaded on my ipod, so I’m off again.
agreed, intriguing. plus they are not tainted by any votes in congress. sort of a clean slate type of deal re politics.
Well, that certainly could be the case. Though I think Glenn Beck will help beat back the anti-Mormon fundies.
There. Fixed it for you.
maybe we can entice watertiger to do some kind of Last Supper montage with beck, huck, palin, mitt, rush, etc?
They all abuse animals, and they never tell the truth.
Got a race developing here in CO between Michael Bennett and Gale Norton. She is a lobbyist for the oil industry and former Sec of Interior. As Attorney General for CO she took a case to the SCOTUS for a anti Gay law.
ding! we have winner!
Actually I was going to be snarky and say “their love of animals” but judges say your answer qualifies.
Citizen Kitt:
“…why in the hell is Act Blue which involved in being a conduit for money raising for someone who is as DINO and as egregious as Mary Landrieu?”
Why indeed, and now ya know why that operation will not get another dime from this old, broken down grampa. I’m gettin’ really tired of the progressive marketeers who are hustlin’ for a stake in the “game”.
Hmm? Is Petraeus a resident within the United States for the past 14 Years? Is does he get a George H.W. Bush exemption?
Fundraysin strategerys are like politians and dipers. They need changin.
Precisely!
“King-makers” beware …
Willard Willard
He’s so fine
You don’t got yours
But I got mine
So screw you.
I do have one question for ActBlue though.. why on earth did they give $23K to Mary Landrieu (D-For Sale)?
For some reason I didn’t know this. I think I will stick to Blue America from now on.
Well- is she $23k better than the gooper senator from LOUSIANNE? If she goes away- that’s the sort we’ll get.
RW, people here tend to forget what it means to be in the majority: you get to set the agenda, you get to do committee assignments and you get some input regarding who the chairpersons of the committees are. The majority is supposed to have more power.
I know the problem! Look at that picture to the furthers right. That dude is BLACK! I mean, c’mon, do you really think people who glorify and worship the Confederate flag are ever going to donate money that might go to a black man? Sheesh! Monkeys are so silly…
Ahahahahaha! The Left is winning!
You know, after eight years of Bush, it feels really, really odd to write that.
Ahahahahaha! Campaign FAIL!
I wonder why they are having trouble raising money for a CA Assembly member who wants to be in the Senate. Surely the nation is dying to import a piece of our wonderfully functional state government! He could help the big boys figure out how to turn the party of no into the party of hell no, not even if we bring the entire country down to hell, no.
I have decided to stick to Act Blue and only give money to individuals AFTER they actually vote. I’m getting a little concerned about people saying one thing but ending up doing another, for some strange reason. I hope some people like Sestak win in 2010 so the party has to rethink its strategy of worrying more about the party powers that be than the people they are supposed to represent. The congressional races need to be a wake-up call to those who aren’t yet up in the Senate as well.
party of hell, no…LOL!
I noticed this over on their site yesterday. Makes me wonder if the claims about Wilson’s flood of cash are accurate.
