LOS ANGELES — The untimely disappearance of Sally Marrari’s medical coverage goes a long way toward explaining why insurance companies are cast as the villain in the health-care reform drama.

“They said I never mentioned I had a back problem,” said Marrari, 52, whose coverage with Blue Cross was abruptly canceled in 2006 after a thyroid disorder, fluid in the heart and lupus were diagnosed. That left the Los Angeles woman with $25,000 in medical bills and the stigma of the company’s claim that she had committed fraud by not listing on a health questionnaire “preexisting conditions” Marrari said she did not know she had.

By the time she filed a lawsuit in 2008, she also got a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and her debts had swelled beyond $200,000. She was able to see a specialist by trading office visits for work on the doctor’s 1969 Porsche at the garage she owns with her husband.

So, did you get a lobster roll?

Just a week is all I can do as this place needs my care, youngest just doesn’t cut it for long stretches of time like we were just on back east!!

NO because every where I looked they were served salad style and I like them Naked with drawn Butter drizzled on top! But I did get my fill of Fried Clams and got a Chef’s special with lobster, shrimp and scallops over linguine! So now I will just have to visit my local Old Port Lobster Shack here in Redwood City, they fly in all their food from Maine!!

Oh you mean Lake St George in Liberty Maine? And yes and the Loons were great to listen to and see. We were able to get a tour on the lake in before it started to rain, which then turned into a down pour all night… My brother-in law had to wear his yellow slicker to BBQ and he still got drenched..

Here are some more of the Loons calls Sure was great to see and listen to them, although they started well before dawn and at dusk!!

She’s just a hoot! I’ve never seen anything like it. A tiny little, smart, polite, powerhouse. It’s like we’ve been together for years.

Thought you would like that… But it did make sleeping a bit difficult me a light sleeper… So I slept in til 9 both mornings we were up there at the lake, but still glad I did get to hear them!

Now geese in the night (by the thousands), that can get obnoxious quickly.

The loons do sound eerie especially as it carries over the lake… When I lived in Maine my buddy and I decided to go Cat Fish fishing at night ya know with the lanterns and all.. Well the Loons were acting up as usual but then we started hearing the coyotes when suddenly we started hearing a either Bob Cat or a mountain lion start screeching on top… We decide it was time to leave…..

I love cat fishing on a warm summer night. I guess you all weren’t in a boat on that particular evening..)

nope on the shore.. we decided we didn’t want to find out just what Kind of cat it was after a while.. just got too much for our nerves (:>))

Guess I will turn in… rest up for a day on the water tomorrow.
