The cliché says "don’t let the Perfect be the enemy of the Good," but it’s important to recognize that when it comes to health care reform, the Good has lots of enemies: the Bad, the Corrupt, the Inept, the Incompetent, the Ineffective, and the Evil.

If we’re not going to get the Perfect on health care reform, let’s make sure the Good is the alternative we get.

The Good. Accept no substitutes.
