Love of Liberty and Health Care in America

By: Glenn W. Smith Sunday August 23, 2009 9:30 am

ZOMG: Florida’s Gov Crist Credits God for Sparing State from Hurricanes

By: Lisa Derrick Saturday August 22, 2009 6:00 pm

ZOMG. Florida’s governor, the oh-so-happily-married Charlie Crist, told a group real estate agents in Orlando that he prayed to God that Florida wouldn’t experience hurricanes, and God granted the request.

Crist explained that before his election in 2006, the state experience a total of eight hurricans in 2004 and 2005. Then he took a trip to Jerusalem in 2007 and placed a note in the western in the Western Wall which read:

Dear God, please protect our Florida from storms and other difficulties. Charlie.

God listened then and has kept listening, since Crist has sent the sam nots via friends each year since.
