The posts by the wrong wing vilifying Mr. Kennedy are symptomatic of what you get from people so ashamed of their own failings, both moral and ethical, that they have to chew at the boot soles of someone whose accomplishments make it obvious that they are worms by comparison. Not a single one of them has done anything significant to better the life of their fellow Americans, and they resent the fact that Mr. Kennedy’s life and accomplishments have exposed them for the little insects that they are.

for those who sit in the privacy of their house, anonymously sitting behind at their computer, spewing their hate filled comments, they only reveal their ignorance. the senatorial life of ted kennedy affected each of us, and made our lives better, in one way or another. from civil rights, to defense of israel, to osha, to minimum wage, the list continues:

If you’re referring to Military throw-power, it resides at the White House. If you’re referring to citizen throw-power, it resides at the polling stations. If you’re referring to impotent bluster, who cares?

As to our not recognizing your lame parody as sarcasm, it was an easy mistake. And considering how surveys show that a majority of Colbert’s Republican viewers are unaware of the joke, assuming your ignorance made sense.

I lost Gigi to cancer on the 6th. She was 15. Picked up her ashes this afternoon and the vet’s office had sprung for the cost and a beautiful mahogany urn. Very touching gesture.
