Coburn said the bills in the House and the Senate contained 87 new government programs, requiring 150,000 new government employees.

When 250,000 joined the roles of the unemployed last month alone, how is this a problem?

But Coburn said we can’t let that happen. Oh no.

Yes, Armey is a truly disgusting human being. Almost as disgusting as his person is that fact that he was given a forum to put forth nothing but the most baseless prevarication.

I can only hope Rachel Maddow will choose to use her own bully pulpit to dispel the litany of lies he and Coburn laid out. I love it when she calls a liar a, “Liar!” That needs to happen far more often, on both sides of the debate, it’s just that operatives for corporate health interests seem to lie with much more frequency.

I think the antis controlled the show ,Daschle and Maddow got a few points in but Gregory kept steering the debate back toward Armey or Coburn

Armey is a Prince of Lies. If I were a religious person, I’d say he was an incarnation of evil. Pehaps, “Prince” is too complimentary an appellation. He is more a minor minion, chasing after the wealth afforded by hanging on the coat tails of the more powerful; Mammon, perhaps?

I think it’s coming Good Golly Ms Molly…either he gets the 10 PM slot that they talked about wanting to fill or he ends eventually up with Ed’s 6 PM slot-which to be honest wouldn’t bother me one bit.

Look, I LIKE that there’s another liberal on TV but in a way it sort of smells Fox-like and cheapens the debate by having such a partisan on the station.
