Unfortunately, something didn’t sit well with the Obama Admin. It might be as you suggest. My suspicion, based on the choices of Sebelius and <a href="http://cujo359.blogspot.com/2009/02/universal-health-care-dream-on.html" rel="nofollow">Daschle</a>, was that they were more interested in putting an advocate for pharma and the insurance industries in that position than a potential advocate for patients or the uninsured. I think who they chose tells us more about what their motivations were than who they didn’t.
