those with a vested interest in maintaining the status quo for the own enormous profits, campaign donations and ratings have pandered to and manipulated the fear some in this country have; but not to health care reform but to a democrat - and not just any democrat but an african american democrat as well.

after eight years of demonizing the democrats and telling america to be afraid, be very afraid, while at the same time telling their supporters they were annointed by God Himself, and they were His “true americans.”

democrats are hollywood, gay conspiring, abortion loving, tax and spend, wealth redistributing from hard working true americans to lazy, shiftless and probably illegal, pals with terrorist, soft on crime, taking your guns and bibles away, evil incarnate.

when those at town hall meetings yell out, “i want my america back,” or “this isn’t my america,” what they are saying is “i want my republican america back,” “this isn’t my republican america.” sure you can have those silly elections and majority rules - i vaguely remember some teacher telling me that was the definition of a democracry, but republicans are suppose to win, one way or another.

That is not why they have those jobs. They are there to push BigMoney ideology on the John Q. Nascar so he keeps voting against his own self interests, and in favor of BigMoney.

it’s not just voting (R) that is against most people’s interests - voting (D) gets expanded pointless wars in Afghanistan, absolution and continuance of Bush’s torture regime, hundreds of billions of dollars to bail out the Wall Street swine who wrecked the economy, and this whole ‘health insurance reform’ farce.

chortle at wingnut antics all you want, but their stupidity does not magically make your positions good, true and beautiful.
