BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. — Several people were reported shot at the LA Fitness gym in Bridgeville, emergency officials confirmed for WTAE Channel 4 Action News.

My dad was an Urbana cop and I remember him having to put on his riot gear and head out in the middle of the night. I think that played a big part in his decision to retire after only 20 years. When he joined in ‘53 it wasn’t because he wanted to beat college kids with a stick.

4 Dead, 10 Wounded in L.A. Fitness Gym Shooting

BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. — Policcce have confirmed that at least 4 people are dead after a gunman opened fire inside an L.A. Fitness gym in the Pittsburgh-area.

Police and ambulances were called to the scene shortly after 8:15 p.m. local time.

Witnesses told local TV stations that a man unrecognized by the gym’s staff turned off lights and opened fire on a class in the aerobics center.

Witness report seeing dozens of people covered in blood running the building.

Emergency officials said as many 15 may have been shot, 4 are confirmed dead.

The gunman is believed to be among the dead.

The gym is located at the Great Southern Shopping Center at 1155 Washington Pike.

It just opened last summer after a large fire gutted a portion of the shopping center.

Unless there was a law and a fine, like we have for obscenity, indecency and profanity, they will ignore our comments and encourage the hosts bigotry and genocidal statements. They will never acknowledge a causal link between violence suggested on the radio and violent action taken by a listener, even though they regularly expect listeners to take action such as going to teabag parties and buying sponsored products.

However they will have to accept a causal link between the advertiser pulling their ads because of the violent rhetoric and bigotry of the hosts.

This time I asked for some kind of statement from them so that when the parent company slips ad back on to KSFO I can point to their previous statement that they won’t advertise on this station. i listened to the clips. they’re crude. threatening to massacre people. let the advertisers read the transcripts or hear the clips. there’s also a line in there something like “civilizing those people”. it’s rude. the iraqis had a perfectly good civilization before we got there.
