If the evidence is inaccurate, then I discard the whole essay.</p> <p>I love some of what Hedges has written. His book on war is the best I’ve ever read (sample of a dozen or more). But he sometimes goes off on a screed, like his anti-atheist work. This seems more like a screed than an evidence driven argument.</p> <p>The subject is worth serious treatment, but I don’t think Hedges advanced the discussion.</p> I’m completely evidence driven.
