About 7:15 I went for a jog uphill for hour and a half and back dpwn, 2 hours 20 minutes all told…made a wrong turn on the sandy mountain trails was tired when I got home. Took today off for planning commission where we got our asses handed to us, except for the sell outs.

I would love to come, but I am a couple thousand miles away. Besides I have to head to the other coast on Sunday.

Yesh. Pay is good. I had a friend over a couple of weeks ago, which is when i stopped posting so much. Spent a crazy few days all over michigan and otherwise chilled out, mostly.

Fine they worked hard got money and suits and it turns out they where wrong my Dad got hassled in a three piece suit, waiting to pick me up from work I had no car at the time.
Policeman wanted my Dad’s ID now! Forget my dad had bad circulation and the ID was in his back pocket Policeman was going to drag my Dad out of the car.
Then I got off work and helped my Dad.
60+ year old guys in suits if Dark are still causes of street crime in Paranoid Minds.

If You call standing in -10 degree weather with my white friends for an 1/2 hour while the police ran the numbers of an AM radio in my car ( I had just upgraded to AM/FM then yes.
If you call getting tickets driving brown fine I admit I’m a fast driver sure I’ve been to traffic school tons of times.
If you call being called to my highschool principle office over paint chips this guy blocked me cause I took his parking space I tried to squeeze through no luck i asked him to move his car 2 weeks later. I’m in the principle’s office I admit well maybe.
I get sent to the police office where I’m told I can avoid County Jail if I confess. The Police wait until after the ATM’s are closed they closed about 9 pm then then they ask my parents for bail.
My Dad’s in Chicago my Mom don’t have that cash a Church friend of my dad’s bails me out.
Oxford white paint turns out to be on a million GM cars I beat the charge why the police pissed my Dad off enough to get a lawyer and we could afford it.
No lawyer a Lawyer you pay for no jail public defenders straight to jail.

I was angry teen men don’t need an excuse. My Dad well he had relatives arrested on driving brown but he worked hard so he could get me a lawyer.
When we won he wasn’t mad at me anymore. The system worked money bought justice.
Now then wearing a suit showed he had money when the police man said he was going to drag him out of the car well my wearing a t-shirt and jeans was not asking for it anymore.
My rants about my tickets which ok many were deserved he understood.
The AM radio check like who steals AM radios suddenly was not an a mistake on the police’s part.
My emotion on that hmmm? the kind of rage that keeps you warm in -10 dergre weather.
The rest fine much I deserved but once unjust arrests happened every just arrest just pissed me off more, I had to leave thats all I can say. Failing that something would have happened.

I was 16 -19 my Dad discussed it more as how we were getting me out of the mess, kids mess up seemed to be his reaction. In my late 20’s he picked me up from work and found out for himself what I said to be honest he had the same reactions I did as a teen.
Surprise about injustice it had happened to him I guess we both were idealistic types. In Chicago in his neighborhood a guy wearing a 3 piece suit would not get hassled without a warrant for his arrest.

Look we had some cash so we got lawyers the police assumed that like most brown folk we had no cash no lawyers so we could be pushed around.
Even when we were convicted they were surprised the system worked. They thought brown your down.

I think thats what pissed Whites off about O.J cash buys reasonable doubt and or a lighter sentence. O.J proved Whiteness is second to cash as far as the law is concerned.

My uncles, both now gone, always wore nice suits when they came to visit. It was a generational thing stemming from the Great Depression. Very sharp. They didn’t have a ton of money, but very happy and proud of their work.
