We had a week of upper 90s in June, though I suspect the real reason his tomatoes haven’t done well is the decade-long drought we’ve been having in the Twin Cities. Last winter was the first time in a long time we had anything close to normal winter snowfall, and even with that we’re still seven to eight inches below normal in the precip department this year so far. (Oh, and it also helps if you fertilize the buggers and don’t plant them too closely.)</p> Yup.
