Pat Buchanon had to have known about the famous “Red Ball Express” which was the black transportation unit which kept allied armies supplied over the long and dangerous routes from Normandy to the advancing front. He also had to have known about the 54th Massachussetts, the Civil War unit on which the movie Glory was based. They have fought in all wars in which the U.S. has been engaged. From the War of 1812 to the Korean War, they were forced be in segregated units. Pat Buchanon, who dropped out of college ROTC, has written supposed history books and knows that.
