Just so folks don’t think I’m blowing smoke, this link is from a website called TV by the numbers, which reflects the latest and greatest of the Nielson ratings.

This page shows the ratings for live and same day cable news for 6 July. Even in re-runs (as I understand ‘O’Reilly Classic to be), Faux News gets almost double the ratings.

You are so right :-) People have a choice what to listen to or watch and many choose this slug and the radio slug with the cigar stuck in his face. There is something seriously wrong with these people and the Taco Bell that tunes them in.

OTOH, there is CNN which was all MJ all the time when they weren’t broadcasting Sanford’s infidelities and vacation plans…

What we all seem to forget is that, as much as BillO spews this kind of thing, he has more viewers than just about any one else on cable news

The thing that always fries me is when I’m in a public place — like an airport or rental car waiting line — and Fox is on. I make it a point to either change the channel, turn down the volume, or complain big time.

Folks have the tv tuned to Fox without even thinking about it — or thinking at all.

You are so right! I am from middle America. I am from New Jersey 2 hours south of NYC the world’s capital and 2 hours north of DC the nation’s capital. I am 30 min east of philly our nation’s founding city and 30 min east of Atlantic city an early capital of capitalism until las vegas arrived. I am from the middle of America. People in Montana and Idaho are from the middle of Boonies.

By the way — high drama when Mika’s father was on Morning Joe as a guest last week — and Joe gave him a copy of his book, which he is now hyping. I laughed when someone tried to get the father to say he would read it. He wouldn’t say that. hahahahah He IS diplomatic.
