Very imaginative phone conversations…only problem is, if you read the whole article Palin only talked to Cheney (apparently about his summer vacation plans). Per various spokespersons, Sarah never managed to get in touch with Crist or Giuliani.

the Dune series was great, I still think so.

the original Fremen rebellion was not feudal, imho.

I think the arc was - revolution, enlightened republic, empire, tyranny, though with the worm as enlightened, somewhat benevolent despot.

Well then, I’ll spare ya of the sequels so as not to spoil the surprise, and I disagree with your take on the end of Dune 1. The new boss was not not a feudal boss.

But then, what I DO know from my collich stuff, is that two people can view the same topic and issue, and come to completely different conclusions. And that’s based on the LENSES they use to view thing by.

Them lenses being their upbringing, education, influences, etc. How you live, shapes your lens.

A pleasure talkin a lil SCi Fi with ya, I stopped reading stuff decades ago. So I’m WAY out of touch with anything since 1980 or so. *G*
