great photo. it is truly a masterpiece of shitheadedness. the way it oddly crops the two people behind the protester’s moronic poster and how the two others in the background (with complete heads) in red and blue appear as equally clueless as the protester himself. i’m not sure what it is about the back of the van being open but i like how it seems to reflect the likely contents of what may be in the protester’s mind, especially by being to one side of his head as though it was his good trailer fairy whispering in his ear. the red, white, blue and yellow flag adds to the sense of mindless ambiguity.

I think people listen to Rove on this stuff, because he really does have the influence.

What happened to the good old GOP days of Newt and Rush frothing up the extreme right crazies for these function of so called grass root efforts.?

The GOP will have to get back to basics and start paying more crazies to show up. Their payroll is going to get big in a time where money is getting tight. Even with their donors.

But excuse me, Rush, and FOX’s line up are the right wing crazies and they are on the payroll? So there is no crazies to show up at these (achem) GOP grass rooting Rah-rah’s?

Come to think of it, George Bush is a college studied cheer leader. He is out of work at the momment?

If they misread the economy, it’s not as though there weren’t people around who got it right.

Could also be that they were asking the wrong people for the “reading.” [I.e., Geithner & Summers]
